OMG Stop Lagging!!!

Ever had lag or performance problems SO frigging bad you simply couldn't play the game?

Medal of Honour: Allied Assault: Breakthrough

The second mission requires you to scuttle a freighter, but after setting the charges, the ship nearly sinks, flipping on it's side, so now you gotta fight through the shipyards, and as soon as I exit the ship and I wind up in a gunfight with a dozen or more Germans I begin lagging like god-knows-what... >.<

Note: My comp I use for this game is from 03 and has been used ever since.

Yeah, pretty much every time I try to play from dial-up or wireless (exception: my home wireless, which seems to work pretty well for some reason). It's a shame, because I'd love to get some L4D in during Data Structures and Algorithms (which is full of stuff I've already learned).

Yeah, when I used to play Maple Story on my old computer, my lagging was legendary. >_>; My computer couldn't handle it when I changed screens, so most of my time was spent waiting for the thing to try to load and then disconnect me. It took half an hour each time, at least, to get back. >_>; I had fun when it was due for my Maple 'wedding'.

Well it never happens on my computer but on my friends computer it tends to lag and it gets REAL annoying when im trying to play an fps like A.V.A I woild be perfectly fine for about 2 minutes, then have a massive lag that ends up killing me AND disconnecting me 3 minutes after. He has such a horrible internet... >.>
