Five years since the purification of shadow Lugia. XD001 was the first and last of the XD shadow pokemon. However, a pokemon battle master known only as 'X' has emerged and reformed Cipher. With data on purification and the XD heart closing process, X has created a new form of shadow pokemon: The Elite Shadow. We do not know all of them although we know that ES007 is Raikou, ES005 is Latias and ES001 is Ho-oh.
Although many attempts were made to prevent it the entire Orre region is now controlled by Cipher. The pokemon experts from all regions have gathered and decided to send 6 trainers into the Orre region to destroy the threat of Cipher.
Soon afterwards a great dimensional disturbance took place. An ancient civilisation has emerged. They have been hiding in another dimension from 'The Dark Nightbringer' who they believed would bring about the end of the universe. The dimensional breach was created by Giratina, who, after destroying most of the 'Utgar' as the civilisation calls itself, has not been seen since. The Utgar who remain have either sided with Cipher or sworn to destroy it. The Utgar command powerful Pokemon, trained in the deep reaches of the alternate dimension. If they help you, you will be blessed, if they fight you, be afraid.
Meanwhile the corruptive shadow aura of the ESs was too much and they broke out of even the confines of their pokeballs. They spread across the land corrupting normal wild pokemon into regular shadow pokemon. These pokemon attacked innocent citizens across the regions making life dangerous for everyone. Curfews have been created at night when the pokemon are most likely to attack. A gym leader or Elite four member has been posted to protect every town. The six trainers were chosen. One from each region: Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Orre and Fiore. They were given a briefing by their prof. and they set out to save the world.
Meanwhile Cipher agents set out across the globe looking for something, what?.........who knows?

Pokemon: *Metagross*(Metagross), Pi-pi (Togepi), King (Aron)
Description: Minos is not the most social of people prefering to be alone. He wears a black trench coat stashed with pokeballs of all shapes and sizes. A genius at electrical equipment he has 'modified' his pokegear that is now so big it takes up most of his pack, this causes all the rest of his equipment to be stored somewhere in the folds of his trench coat. A black belt secures his own pokemon around his waist. He wears a broken snag machine as a symbol of luck. He is nothing special to look at, brown hair, brown eyes, average height. However underneath all that lies a tragic past.
Personality: Minos feels strongly about pokemon and once thew himself in a shadow pokemon creation machine to save a togepi (Now in his party). The result was that every now and then Minos will lose himself to the shadowy aura. At these times Minos attempts to isolate himself from the rest of the group. They know something is wrong but not what. He can also devise expert stratages when they are needed. Only he has any idea what Cipher is searching for, but refuses to tell the group.
History: His father died before he was born and his mother died in childbirth. No blood relitives could be traced so his god father was appointed his guardian. Raised by his godfather in a small house near Mt. Silver, Minos has been trained in pokemon from an early age. When his godfather went missing, presumed dead after a Tyranitar rampage, Minos set out with only his Metang to acompany him. He came to the Orre rgion but after saving Pi-pi he realised he was more of a threat than an asset with his shadow self frequently taking over, so he left, taking Cipher snag machine with him. On the way out he came across a Cipher peon with a shadow Aron, however after it was snagged, the snag machine broke. Minos decided not to repair it as it could be dangerous should Cipher control it again.
