I don't like that in the pokemon games you can only have one game file, I mean I don't like that I have to buy another game to have another game file to restart the game!

What do you think about that?

Srsly, that's something that always bothered me as well. D:

Having multiple files would be nice on your wallet, but think of it in this way: If you have siblings, it would be nice on your parents' wallet too, at the expense of your gaming time.

That would be great, although I don't think that can happen on the DS.

One Pokemon game file is about 64MB, correct me if I'm wrong, so, if you have 2 game files, that would be about 128MB, and the DS can't support that much data, I think.

But in my opinion, I think that's possible if the Pokemon game is for the Wii or any other console, just not a handheld.

    Maybe you are right... :(

The DS cartridges can hold a LOT of data (maybe 2GB?)
The pokemon ROMs are only 128MB, and saves would be smaller than that.

The main problems are getting multiple legendaries, pokemon that there are only meant to be one of.

People could save in front of legendaries and continually trade them off on the GTS for others that they couldn't normally get.

It's a quite reasonable guess to say that Nintendo don't want people doing this.

What? They're talking about 2 or more game save files. As in two seperate trainers, so that you don't have to restart your game to be able to play from the start again, all you have to do is make a new game on the other save file.

That would be awesome. I so badly want to restart my Platinum, but I put too much time into it, just to restart it. WE NEED 2 SAVE FILES!

Agreed....we need more save files. I would prefer multiple saves.

Yes, but the point of the games isn't to have a whole bunch of different people you can play as. They want you to become attatched to your pokemon, so you can't use one file as your main and do other stuff with your other one. They make more money that way, and besides, you could always get the two different ones.

If anyone, blame Nintendo, the people who made the game like this.

Sorry, I realise what you were trying to say. Two different people.

But Nintendo also made the games for people to have FUN, and some people might find that fun.

I agree, but, if they ever make a game with 2 save files, that must be pretty expensive. They might even make MORE money if they make a game like that.
