    4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe @ life orb-modest nature
    Thunderbolt
    Psychic
    Calm Mind
    Shadow ball
Probably the mvp of my team, high sp atk and speed makes for a good special sweeper, and with a couple of calm minds, hes unstoppable

    Salamence:
[PokeCommunity.com] One of My New Tries at a Competitive Team.

    Waterfall
    Counter
    Ice punch
    earthquake
Waterfall and earthquake for stab, especially with his high atk, counter because of his high defense, and ice punch once again for the dragons.

Okay so this is my first try, please be nice even thought it may be a horrible attempt... But id like an honest opinion.

Oh and if a whole pokemon in general should be replaced with anything else, ive got TONS of other ev'd pokes to put it in for it, so say the team is good except for one poke, well then just mention what poke would be good to replace it with and i probably have it.

    Natures are now listed. Anyone?

Thanks for the short rating.... i have the items you mentioned so i changed them right away. Ill try to get someone to tutor my zapdos heat wave... as i dont have enough shards

Quick rate: Don't ever put a move that is not attacking on a Choice set (there is some exceptions, but very few). So, take off Roost and Substitute since you will just be locked into using it, and replace with Heat Wave and U-turn. HP Grass>>Ice on Zapdos also for Swampert and Rhyperior since you already have a way of dealing with Mence and such. I might come back later for a bigger rate, just wanted to spot that out.

alright ill take those suggestions into mind, how am i supposed to change zapdos's hp ice to grass? And losing swampert would mean losing my main water type as i have nothing to take out fire/ground types except for ice punch on machamp for ground and earthquake on donphan for fire..

Well, I would say go with a Mix Infernape over the Typhlosion.

    Naive/Hasty @Life Orb
    64 Atk / 252 SpA / 192 Spe
    Nasty Plot
    Flame Thrower
    Close Combat
Grass Knot / Hidden Power Ice

The Mixape is a solution to the ground types with Grass Knot or HP Ice.

how would a jolly infernape with this moveset sound?
    close combat
    fire punch
    stone edge
    swords dance

I meant to defeat opposing Swampert, not attack yourself. ._. Uh, get another Zapdos?

i can try to get another one, but i like this one >.< is there anyway it would be fine without hp grass? and oh lol it just seemed worded weird

Its better then Typhlosion. Typhlosion is UU for a reason mate.

i could consider it for the infernape i already have..

I think that u should still use a rest-talk machamp as it has more staying power. I also think that counter has some issues on a swampert, but it might work. Also ur typhlosion could be replaced with many other good special sweepers, specifically heatran. However, if u do use it then u need to replace either fireblast or flamethrower with another typed special move for better coverage, as the both of them together are kind of useless. also if u decide to keep flamethrower, if typhlosion learns lava plume, the 30% burn rate is worth the slight BP drop.

    Scarf Heatran:
    Choice Scarf
    Naive/Rash
    EVs 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    Fire Blast /Flamethrower
    Earth Power
    Explosion
Hidden Power Ice /Hidden Power Grass /Dragon Pulse
    Specs Heatran:
    Choice Specs
    Modest
    EVs 40 HP / 252 SpA / 216 Spe
    Fire Blast/Overheat
    Earth Power
    Hidden Power Grass
    Dragon Pulse /Flamethrower

I'm no expert, but if you stick with the Typholsion, replace Flamethrower with Overheat. The only time you'd really use that is when you're about to die(low hp = eruption fail) and the lowered sp. attack won't matter all that much. If you do survive then just switch out.

actually speaking of typhlosion, im temporarily switching him out for heatran with this moveset:
    fire blast
    dragon pulse
    earth power
    explosion

and im temporarily switching out zapdos as it was too slow and its defense was way to low... for a more versatile raikou, he may seem like an underdog but hes actually quite fast and has a good sp atk to back it up

    thunderbolt
    psychic
    shadowball
    calm mind

oh and i decided to switch out donphan for alakazam so my team is pretty much all OU now.. alakazam has 405 sp atk and 339 speed so he really packs a punch

    psychic
    shadow ball
    energy ball
    focus blast

ill get the ev's if anyone wants to rate them, but even so im going to update the first post with all the updates so everyone can take a better look at the updated team

i updated it so look again please, any other ratings? :D

and im also wondering if i should replace raikou with electivire or jolteon.
