Okay folks, I got to Victory Road on Pokemon Sapphire, then quit. I finally came back and decided to finish the game. Take a look at (what I would call) one of the most amazing battles ever (the elite four)...
My lineup:
Ninetales
Kyogre
Swellow
Swampert
Manectric
Hariyama
For some stupid reason, the first battle with Sidney is always a pain. My Ninetail's Fire Spin gets Sidney's Shiftry down to about 10 HP, then he does a full restore (x3).
Greeattt...
Phoebe: well I just owned her with Kyogre's Hydro Pump... no biggie. 1 hit KOs.
Glacia: okay she is a pain in the butt too. Everything goes fine until Manectric's Thunder attack doesn't work. Glacia eventually took down *all* my pokemon. I defeated her final Walerein with my only pokemon left: Kyogre.
Drake: This is where Kyogre's power was truly displayed. I went into the battle with Drake with ONLY Kyogre. Kyogre's moves are: Body Slam, Hydro Pump, Waterfall, and Ice Beam. Ice Beam to take out Shelgon, and both his Flygons, plus his Altaria. Salamance was a problem, but Ice Beam completely obliterated him.
So I defeat Drake with ONLY Kyogre left. I came in with Kyogre, and I went out with Kyogre.
Don't forget I had about 10 Hyper Potions (helps insanely).
Steven surprised me even more. Skarmony was no problem. Cradily... Icceee Beam. MORE ICE. Arrgon was completely killed by Watefall (yay).
Claydol finally finished me off. Don't worry, I gave him one heck of a time. You know how the Elite Four has about an inifinate supply of Full Restores. Well, yeah, that's what Steven did. At this point, I was only down to Kyogre and his Ice Beam, Hydro Pump, AND Waterfall were out of PP. That leaves me with... Body Slam. How did I make this so long an agonizing? Body slam = it paralizes them. So, I Body Slammed Claydol to death. Full Restore. Body slam him to death. Full Restore. Body slam him to death. Full restore. Finally, my Body Slam failed me and didn't paralyze him. I was out of Hyper Potions (and almost out of PP with Body Slam). He finished me off.
That was fun. I won a lot of money, so I can go buy myself a lifetime supply of potions and now I can do it all overrrr again....
Talk about lucky and amazing. :o
