Oh my God, I am pissed off. One Piece finally gets a decent dub and they throw it off the air. I want to kill CN! How they dare they replace it with that crappy Yu-Gi-Oh ripoff and Blue Dragon. Wow that sucks. Ugh....

EDIT: I heard people say it was annouced before but I never heard that... I'm trying to find an article or something but can't find anything. I really want to know why it was taken off...

You're welcome!! ^^ I know what you mean, I read it somewhere on the Bulbagarden Forums that this was going to happen... Sucks really bad, but I think the reason for doing so is probably the same reason why BLEACH was taken off Adult Swim for a while, to Dub new episodes... but this is just speculation on my part... I too am searching for this article!!
 
wow...when did they take it off the air?
cause i missed saturdays episode....but i taped the episode and watched it!(unless that taped one was from 2 weeks ago!)
 
Well One Piece wasn't on at all on Saturday. It was replaced by Bakugan, or however it's spelled. Maybe it wasn't taken 'off the air'... maybe it's just taking a break. ^^; That's what I'm hoping. I'm still not happy about CN. With Naruto doing fillers right now, One Piece is God of Toonami.

The last episode they aired on Toonami was on March 15, 2008, which was Episode 128 in the U.S. (167 in Japan), where Eneru shows up, as Ichi-chan mentioned, and where he allows the Knights to leave their areas and basically allowing them to go into each of the other Knight's territories!! Also, its the one where Merry was fixed by a mysterious person Usopp saw!! According to Wikipedia, "Season four is currently on hiatus due to Toonami's broadcasting of Bakugan Battle Brawlers in One Piece's timeslot, and air dates for future episodes, or whether the series will be aired in the future, is currently unknown."

What also sucks is that starting this week, DBZ will also be off the air!! ;_;
 
Well FUNi's working their asses off right now too, dubbing these current eps and the first eps for the DVDs. Maybe they're just taking a break... and hopefully it'll come back really soon. In the meantime, that'll allow me to get way way ahead now. xD Oh yeah, DBZ is gettig kicked off for this show called 'Blue Dragon' I think. I never heard of it, but I heard it's like that Bakugan thing so I'm not interested.

Toonami sucks, Toonami sucks...

The blue dragon thing dosent look as bad as bakugan.Since it was based off some game.
OK then, now i know that the episode i watched was the one from the 15.XD!
Dont get mad but.......im kinda glad one piece will be off the air for a while(maybe)Wait....wait.......its because itll give the manga a chance to catch up!.Since the manga is technicly like 10 volumes behind the anime.LOLZ

and yesterday i got my may issue of SJ...but i never got my april issue!!!!!.....so they like skiped a whole month....but ill make sure i get one

Oh crap... just when it was getting good, Cartoon Network decides to take it off!? First they cut Toonami in half, while at the same time destroying TOM's awesome appearance!? Now this too!? That just blows... (though at least I they put Samurai Jack back on the air for the time being...) This truly blows!! D:<

I agree, CN must have a inoperable tumor that is getting the better of them... I also recall that they took off all anime from the Adult Swim weekday schedule... Only on Saturdays now...

No, (thankfully) BLEACH is still on the air on Saturdays at 1:00AM EST, and so is Death Note at 12:30 AM EST!! :D

I will join. I like One Piece, though I have only seen the East Blue saga subbed and a few dubbed episodes (from both the 4Kids and FUNImation dubs). My favorite characters are Buggy, Usopp (HAPPY BIRTHDAY), Luffy, Nami, and Sanji. As for my favorite Devil Fruit, Bara Bara, hands down.

And I am not discontented by the fact that Cartoon Network canceled One Piece. The FUNImation dub, while not as horrible as the 4Kids dub, was still quite bad. To get the true One Piece experience, one is better off watching the original Japanese version with subtitles.

Have any of you ever played One Piece: Grand Battle for PS2? I have and (despite the terrible voice acting) find it to be a decent game. I like to play as Buggy the most, though Luffy and Sanji are also fun to use.
