One Week? or One Year?

Would you wait a week for a minor hack or a year for a major?

    OK, so i just started hacking emerald and from what i hear about what people hate or like about hacks, i have a long way to go with my current one. I was thinking about starting over and just making slight changes (enough to where the experience of the game would be differend, mind you) to it. So Here is a question for all of you, would you rather wait less than a week for a minor change in gaming, or more than a year for a (almost) complete overhaul? Please state why and other things you would like to say also.
     
    Very few hacks survive past the 1 week mark to begin with. If you can definitely 110% make it to 1 year, and stay on schedule etc. Then I'd say 1 year. If not, 1 week.
     
    One that takes over a year. A hack that takes one week to make is not going to be too different from the game that is being hacked, and as such I'm going to find it boring. Whereas if I wait over a year for a good hack, then hey, maybe the wait will be worth it.
     
    I don't care how long it takes, tbh. Just as long as the hack's good, it's fine by me.
    I've been waiting years for Shiny Gold beta 6, but I know it's gonna be good so I'll keep on waiting.

    But yeah, given those two choices, I'd say I'd wait for the hack that takes a year. :3
     
    I would wait for a year for a hack because then I know the quality is good.
    But if its a bug fix patch or something like that then I would wait a week.
     
    Wait 1 year but monthly updates.
