Opinions for the best starter??

cool!! I've always been a fan of typhlosion since G/S/C. He's one of my fav. pokemon too. I jus dont rly use him becuz i can never rly find room for him on any teams of mine =/

Only thing i could think of for typhlosion with his limited moveset would be

Typhosion@(The item that turns 2 turn atk moves into 1 turn moves)
Timid
Solarbeam
Flamethrower
Focus Blast
Hidden Power(Ice)

Sunnybeaming is fail-ish, unless there's cloraphyl involved. Excuse my poor spelling. Typhlosion makes a nice choice scarf eruption user. focus punch for teh blissey switch-ins and you're having fun.

Well i came up with the set in like 2 seconds so plz don't threaten to smack me like midknight winged does ='(

Welllll the only question i got is why's solarbeaming failish?? I put the item i think it's called...white herb or sumthin on it to make solarbeam a one turn hit move =/ idk what else to place it with, those're the only moves i saw that were good...

Typlosion used sunny day! blissey came in! Tough luck!

That about explains it. evenm if the special wall is gone, it gives your opponent a turn to bring in something that can beat it head to head. Like gengar.
 
that's even worse. It's literally like using (OMG OMG) fly, since BAM comes Mence to take 10% from it. What, you think they's leave swampert in to take a solarbeam?
 
well to be honest it's why i gave it white herb. Y'know...give it the chance to use solarbeam on 1 turn and not 2. i feel it's a pretty good tech =)

well w/e..this is a thread about starting pokes not movesets =PPP

White herb eliminates stat changes, like the SAtk drop from overheat :/

Starter wise, Gengar is quite the beast.

You can always put a sleep talker on your team to switch into them ;)
