6th Gen ORAS save troubles!

    Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing these issues. I saved in Lilycove after going to Mt. Pyre and doing everything you need to do there. Then after i turned off the system. After turning on the system again i found myself back at the 6th gym leader (unbattled).
     
    Hmm...I wonder if this is just coincidence. I had forgotten all about it until reading this, but I recall having the same issue at around the same points you did in my Alpha Sapphire playthrough. I got to Route 121, could have sworn I saved, but when I reset my game I ended up back in Fortree City and had to battle Winona again. I figured I had just forgotten to save, but idk, I wonder now if anyone else has experienced this too :/
     
    I turned off the system for about 5 minutes while i made some food. So i know for a fact i saved.

    The games store both the most recent save and the previous save. If the most recent one has been corrupted somehow, then the game will load the previous save instead. I can't tell you why it may have corrupted though. Perhaps you turned the 3DS off before it had finished saving?
