Most of the movies don't reference current continuity too specifically. You'll likely see all of the trio's Pokemon, so you can judge based on evolutions and captures and say "Well it takes place sometime after Episode X".

Yeah but that's the order they were presented in so I thought it would be best. It's not like you can get spoiled much from watching the movies at this point.
