Original Cards

    Hey, im new here and havent been involved in pokemon forever. I was just wondering if any of the original cards(Charizard, Alakazam, Blastoise, etc.) have any value as of today, and if so how much would they be worth. Basically all i have are the originals and im kind of hoping to get rid of them.
     
    If you're thinking about trading them into a card store, they probably won't accept them. Most of them have over 1000 already.

    To answer your question, I'm pretty sure they might be the same value if in mint condition and first edition

    Well, the 1st edition versions of the final forms of the starters (Charizard, Venusaur, & Blastoise) from the base set should still be worth something...

    i checked ebay and the unlimited charizard goes for only 10 bucks :(....So whats the big pokemon everyone wants nowadays.
     
    But that's UNLIMITED. I'm talking about 1st edition. Actually, that's a good price for an unlimited base set Charizard nowadays...

    I think that people are mainly after Rayquaza, Latios, and Latias EX and *...

    Hmph. Tch. Probably ain't worth much although a Base Set Charizard would be worth ALOT ta me since I STILL ain't got one an' they don't sell 'em in my country anymore... T_T

    You can sell a 1st Edition Charizard for ?40 (about $60-$70) if you go to a special trading card shop...You can only get about ?4 (about $6-$7) for an Unlimited Charizard...But hold onto it! The value will go up! Just look at my 'Card Values' thead!
