i checked the FAQ section and couldn't really find anything related to what i was asking for, but if this is an unneccesarry topic then go ahead and delete it.

yesterday night, i made a topic in the 'other clubs' section. when i clicked the post button, i wasn't really paying attention, but i quickly saw that it read something like "this must be viewed by a moderator" - i can't remember exactly. i didn't get a chance to read the rest 'cause it redirected me to the homepage before i could see anymore of it.

my question is: how long will it take before my topic is put up? will i get a notification or anything if it is or isn't put up? and was there something that i missed reading when i posted the topic?

i could've sworn i saw one of the mods of the forum online today....

The club just needs to be approved by the section's moderator, it usually gets approved when the mod is online. Though, do remember it must fit with the Other Clubs rules to be accepted etc.
9/10 times though there usually isn't an issue, so as soon as the mod of that section approves it, it will appear in the Other Clubs section.

As for being notified, you aren't as such. Just keep aan eye on the section and be patient.
It is stated in the Other Clubs rules, about moderation etc.

Well, there is one way to be notified.
You could subscribe to the Other Clubs forum, and have it set to Instant Email Notification. Or something along the lines of that.
You'll just need to monitor your email account, which you can keep in a new tab if it's webmail.

i'm 95% sure i've seen one of the mods on today already. ._.

and i made sure to follow the rules as much as i could.
i followed every step, even mentioned the rules in my post.
i made sure there wasn't already a thread for it.
    all that good stuff. :|

You do notice that he said "usually" not "always".

Give them time. Threads don't magically appear within seconds of the mods' appearance, y'know.
    oh sorry, i misread.

yes i am aware of that. no need to be so cocky about it, i was just asking a question. :|

They're often busy, I also mentioned to be patient.
If it's not accepted within the next day just drop a polite VM/PM on the mod's profile just explaining that you weren't sure if it had been approved or not, if if not why. I know the mod of the section is quite kind so they would have no problem once you don't demand to know :3

ohh yeah, i assume they have more important stuff to do. x]

i don't mind waiting another few days now, if that's how long it takes.
i just wanted to reassure myself that the reason it wasn't made yet was because i did something wrong or something.
    thanks for your help! :]

    Definition of Cocky: Conceited.

    Synonyms and/or relations: Narcisissm(loving one's self).

I fail to see how my post has anything to do with my self-esteem; I was merely being calm and nothing more.

    Misread again.
Definition of cocky: "overconfident, arrogant, brash, swaggering, conceited, egotistical, cocksure, swollen-headed, vain, full of yourself"

Definition of vain: "archaic: foolish, silly"

Definition of foolish: "resulting from or showing a lack of sense"

i'll use a simpler term next time.
