    OTHER GENERATION CHALLENGE
So this challenge is simple, you may not use or catch pokemon introduced in the region of the game(s) you choose. For example if you are playing gold/silver you must catch pokemon from gen 1 and you can't use gen 2 pokemon. If you are playing R/S/E you can only use gen 1 and gen 2 pokemon. If you are playing Diamond/Pearl you can only use gen 1, gen 2 and 3 and so on. You cannot play a game where your only options are pokemon from that generation until you beat the elite four and get the national dex (ex: R/G/B/Y and B/W)

    Rules:
-Only use pokemon released in another generation than the game you are playing
-HM slaves should be possible to get from other generations, if they aren't and you need one you are allowed to catch a pokemon in the generation of your game as long as you don't use it in battle.
-If a pokemon from another game's generation had an evolution released in your generation (ex: probopass and nosepass) You are not allowed to use it unless you only use the first evolution and if the preevolution was released in a new gen (Mime Jr and Mr. Mime) you can use Mr. Mime as long as you don't evolve it from the preevolution.
    -No hacking/cloning
-Have fun! Feel free to put your progress in the thread!
