I've been using a rain team since generation 5, and I have used the first four members of this team before. However, I only really used it in the PWT and Battle Maison. I would appreciate any input.

    Tornadus (M) @ Damp Rock
    Ability: Prankster
    EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    Naive Nature
    - Hurricane
    - Rain Dance
    - Tailwind
    - Superpower

Tornadus sets up the rain, maybe uses Tailwind, then Spams Hurricane. Superpower is for coverage.

    Ludicolo @ Absorb Bulb
    Ability: Swift Swim
    EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
    Modest Nature
    - Giga Drain
    - Fake Out
    - Surf
    - Ice Beam

I usually lead with Ludicolo and when it gets hit by a Surf, its Absorb Bulb kicks in.

    Politoed @ Choice Specs
    Ability: Drizzle
    EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
    Modest Nature
    - Surf
    - Psychic
    - Ice Beam
    - Perish Song

Politoad is usually my other lead, it sets up rain and uses Surf to boost Ludicolo's special attack, then spams it or switches.

    Gastrodon @ Rindo Berry
    Ability: Storm Drain
    EVs: 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 SpD
    Quiet Nature
    IVs: 0 Spe
    - Surf
    - Earth Power
    - Clear Smog
    - Ice Beam

Gastrodon operates similarly to Ludicolo, except much slower. For this reason, I gave it min speed, just in case I battle a Trick Room team.

    Pidgeot-Mega @ Pidgeotite
    Ability: No Guard
    EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    Timid Nature
    - Hurricane
    - Heat Wave
    - Hyper Beam
    - U-turn

This is a new member. I really just want to test out how it works.

    Forretress @ Assault Vest
    Ability: Sturdy
    EVs: 40 HP / 252 Atk / 108 Def / 108 SpD
    Brave Nature
    IVs: 0 Spe
    - Gyro Ball
    - Bug Bite
    - Rapid Spin
    - Volt Switch

I have used a max attack Forretress before, and it's Gyro Ball hits like a truck. Since this is doubles, I've replaced the usual Stealth Rock with Bug Bite for extra coverage.

Escavalier is a better Assault Vest user than Forretress because it has a stronger STAB in Megahorn and has better coverage options. Hazards are practically nonexistent in multi-battle formats, due to the fast pace, so Rapid Spin support is essentially useless:
    -Megahorn
    -Iron Head
    -Drill Run
    -Knock Off
    Nature: Adamant
    EVs: 248 HP/252 Atk/8 SDef
    Item: Assault Vest
    Ability: Overcoat

Thanks for the suggestion, I completely forgot about Escavalier. The Forretress set I had was from singles, so Rapid Spin was there just in case. I like Forretress in singles because people expect it to set up Stealth Rocks, so a max attack Gyro Ball would catch them off guard, but you're right, Escavalier is better in doubles.
