    Introduction -

Hello everyone, it's been a while since I have posted a team here. I actually quit Pokécommunity for a few weeks because I got bored, but now I am back and I need advice. I need you people to rate this new team that I built and help me improve it.

    Team Overview -

    Team In-depth -

    Metagross @ Occa Berry
    Clear Body
    EVs: 252 HP, 236 Attack, 12 Defence, 8 Speed.
    Adamant
    - Stealth Rock
    - Earthquake
    - Bullet Punch
    - Explosion

Stealth Rock is best set up early game, so I have it on my lead. Earthquake allows me to hurt Steel and Fire types. Bullet Punch is there for Focus Sashed leads, like Roserade, Azelf and Aerodactyl. I tend to go straight for Bullet Punch against Azelf and Aerodactyl as they like to use Taunt. Finally, I have Explosion so I can hurt Swampert, Hippowdon and Bronzong. Occa Berry lets me take a Flamethrower / Fire Blast to the face.

    Infernape @ Life Orb
    Blaze
EVs: 252 Attack, 64 Special Attack, 192 Speed.
    Naive
    - Close Combat
    - Overheat
    - U-Turn
    - Stone-Edge

Smogon Standard Infernape is nice because it has just enough speed to out-speed positive base 100's. Close Combat is Infernape's main form of STAB and deals with stuff like Blissey and Heatran. Overheat is there so I can hurt Steel types like Jirachi, Skarmory and Scizor. U-Turn is the main move on this set because it allows me to send in Infernape against something that Infernape can deal with and then U-Turn out on the obvious switch, I am then able to send in something appropriate to deal with whatever comes in. Stone-Edge allows me to hurt Salamence, Dragonite, Togekiss, etc.

    Zapdos @ Life Orb
    Pressure
EVs: 204 HP, 10 Defence, 44 Speed, 252 Special Attack.
    Modest
    - Agility
    - Thunderbolt
    - Hidden Power Grass
    - Heatwave

My custom Agility Zapdos. It reaches 494 Speed after the Agility, which is enough to out-speed positive base 100's like Scarf Jirachi. The HP and Defence EVs provide bulk for my Zapdos, allowing it to take a hit while it sets up an Agility. Thunderbolt for STAB, Hidden Power Grass for bulky waters like Swampert and Heatwave for Steel types like Magnezone and Jirachi.

    Gyarados @ Life Orb
    Intimidate
    EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 Defence.
    Jolly
    - Dragon Dance
    - Waterfall
    - Ice Fang
    - Earthquake

A standard Gyarados. I run Jolly because it allows me to out-speed Jolteon, who can otherwise destroy this set. Waterfall is my main form of STAB and lets me hit stuff fairly hard. Ice Fang allows me to hurt Latias, which my team has a problem with and also allows me to hit other Dragons, Flying and Grass types nicely. Earthquake is there for Steel types and more type coverage.

    Shaymin @ Leftovers
    Natural Cure
    EVs: 252 HP, 220 Defence, 36 Speed.
    Bold
    - Seed-Flare
    - Leech-Seed
    - Rest
    - Aromatherapy

This teams cleric. I wanted something that could take physical hits nicely, so I decided on the Physical Walling Shaymin set off Smogon. Seed-Flare is a really nice move and allows me to get Special Defence drops on stuff like Blissey, which likes to attempt to wall this set. Leech-Seed is nice because it gives me tonnes and tonnes of HP from other walls, it recovers so much HP that even Blissey can't beat Shaymin. Rest allows me to get rid of my own statuses and then I can switch out and lose the Sleep Status because of Natural Cure. Aromatherapy is good for recovering statuses on my sweepers.

    Azelf @ Choice Scarf
    Levitate
EVs: 252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 6 Hp.
    Modest
    - Psychic
    - Hidden Power Ice
    - Thunderbolt
    - Trick

Azelf is this teams revenge killer and is the only thing that stops me from getting owned by Dragon Dancers like Salamence. Modest Scarf Azelf has just enough speed to outspeed positive nature base 100's at x1.5 Speed. Psychic is Azelf's main form of STAB. Hidden Power Ice hurts Dragons, as mentioned earlier. Thunderbolt allows me to get rid of Gyarados, which this team can have a problem with if Shaymin is down. Trick is there so I can get rid of my Scarf when I don't need it, preferably on a wall like Dusknoir, Bronzong or Blissey.

    Problems that I've had -

    Trick Room Teams.
    Sandstorm Stall Teams.
    Alakazam with Hidden Power Electric.
Scarf Flygon if Azelf is down.

    (More to be added.)

    Considerations -

Scarf Latias > Scarf Azelf - No.
Scarf Jirachi > Scarf Azelf - Testing.

    Conclusion -

My team is probably too offensive based, but I am the type of person who doesn't like defensive Pokémon and doesn't enjoy stalling. I've also got too many fast sweepers and I could probably go for a more bulky sweeper, but heck... the team works nicely, I've won a lot of matches on Shoddy Battle while testing it. L0L 1 MU5T 0UT5P3D B453 I00Z.

Rate away. Any changes will be tested on Shoddy Battle and if I like them then I will add them to the team permanently.

Scarf Azelf is about the worst Pursuit bait ever, once your set is discovered you're just dead meat for Tyranitar or Scizor. Use something like Scarf Jirachi if you need a revenge killer/trick scarfer. (Scarf Latias is just as bad ;x)

Celebi generally outclasses Shaymin as a cleric in OU, but I suppose you can use it if you want.

Be careful if you lose Metagross early in the battle, it kinda leaves you vulnerable to Latias :o

Yeah use Scarf Jira >> Scarf Azelf to help with Latias.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to try Scarf Jirachi later. I'm just not a huge fan of Scarf Jirachi as I find it a little predictable, but it's still a cool revenge killer. On the matter of Celebi, I will pass. I've tried it before and it just leaves me even more open to Pursuit, plus Celebi has a tonne more weaknesses than Shaymin...
