OU Team...-.-

Man, I already answered your question. Your just to freaking stupid to understand it. Ask your "alter ego" he might get it.

Im done with this debate. Ive stated my points and thus because i have people who read before speaking will understand them.

Well, I'm glad to see that we've managed to keep a mature level of conversation right to the end and didn't resort to picking on irrelevant things because we ran out of arguments. The only reason you ever gave is that you 'like to do things different' and the only thing that has proven is that the assumption I made when swearing off this section was right: common sense has left S & M. Back in the old days, breaking standard was done for thought out purposes; not just for the heck of it. Sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. T_T

She said if Abomasnow dies-no switching back. Also, she uses Hail, and is strong about it. Ok, so lets squash this debate. If you don't get why she uses Hail, don't worry about it. Arguing over something so pointless.

Now I tend to use quite a few UU's in my team-Vileplume, and most noticably, Noctowl. Disregarding sleep clause, I've been pretty sucessful with Noctowl. First he puts an opponent to sleep with Hypnosis, then switch em out with Whirlwind, while doing secondary Stealth Rock damage (set up from someone else, of course). She also has Reflect & Light Clay for team support and suvivability.

Emphasis being on 'purposeful', the eventual occurrence that your opponent has an opposing weather effect pokémon which also manages to KO yours first is not a good basis for wasting a moveslot on an utterly pointless move, especially since the benefits of Hail are marginal at best. -.-

What the hell are you still talking about this for? The arguement ended when Nighty said she's done with this debate. Stay on topic, and thats with UU standing a chance against OU, not on the usefulness of Hail. If you don't get why she uses Hail, DON'T WORRY BOUT' IT!!!

You commented on it so I clarified; no more no less. There's no call for that kind of language especially since you're not even the person I argued with. Now how about this? Everyone leaves the topic alone, including snarky mini-mods obsessed with caps and exclamation marks. Not a reply to this, not a comment on those posts by anyone. Fair enough? No, don't answer that; just ignore the whole subject for a 'yes'. <.<

Another UU I tend use is Claydol. If he is UU. He is my Rapid Spinner/Stealth Rock setter upper.

I'm only going to emphasize my opinion on how to beat OU with UU.

Actually, it's quite simple. Basically, take some random Pokemon that have as much potential to make OU replacements. Some good ideas are

Heracross -> Pinsir
Medicham -> Hitmonchan
Kingdra -> Lanturn

Those are just personal examples, but the possibilites are endless. You just need to do very heavy research.

And for the record, Gliscor and Steelix are by no means UU since they're too powerful for the UU Metagame.
EDIT: and btw Claydol never was UU. Not in Advance, and more than likely not in D/P.

Oh, my bad, I just don't see him in most teams anymore.

Maybe with Umbreon support. His defense is insane, his attack is great, but his sp.def is pathetic, especially for a water type. He can't take a single Thunderbolt.

Thats true, I am still considering using one though.
Perhaps a baton passer which raises sp.def? im not sure how to help a cloyster out with that

I was thinking more in the line of Mean Look passing, but that might work. Light Screen will do wonders for Cloyster. He is my favorite water type.

i don't quite get the whole OU/UU thing myself. well, i understand it, but it's pointless. you can make just about any team work if you look close enough and work hard enough. it shouldn't be whether about a certain poke is OU or UU.

OU/UU just states how much a poke is used, am I right? So that should never determine a team, but it should be considered to a small extent. Such as why they are UU to begin with. But it should never be considered enough to decide a team.

Cloyster and Umbreon have also been viewed as OU.

Cloyster? Really? We know Umbreon is, but Cloyster? Learn new things everyday.

Are any of these UU?
