before i begin im sorry but the only way i know to show pictures is image shack :S

i think that we should do a overworld pokemon project to help with games in development that want pokemon in the overworld.

this will be quite a small project as we only need about 200 pokemon and most are quite small.

pokemon that should definately be included are all the beginner pokemon and legendaries the rest should consist of pokemon that are like real animals that poeple would treat them as pets or say something like a horse or bull like pokemon. all pokemon should be realisticly sized aswell e.g charmander is slightly smaller than a person - charmeleon is same size as a person - charizard is about the size 2 people

to do big pokemon i have a cheap way that works...

    (enlarged massively)

this mainly works for pokemon that lay on their stomache.

smaller pokemon i think should look somewhat like this (cyndequill sucks i know)

and all starter or real small pokemon should have a few more sprites so that they can follow their trainers around like so...

and the same for pokemon you can swim on or fly on like so... (again)

    (still working on side poses)

thats all for now but i hope you guys help as i think it will make games alot better
also could you say what pokemon(s) you are making so we dont get 2 poeple making the same pokemon and it will make develpoment go alot faster. :)

nice tutorial, i learned a lot of it! ^^

projects do belong in the pixel art project forum. Ya might want to move it before ya get "moderated".

Still, this is nice. I like the starters. Bulby's best! And how would do a wailord? that would take up like the whole map!

thanks guys i will move it to the project forum soon then :) also thanks for actually reading the tutorial its my 1st one and i thought no one would look as it looks messy i think but i guess its ok :)
