An idea I've been toying around with for the longest time (originally an RP idea, which I later found would be better suited for a game idea). It draws inspiration from Phantasy Star Online Episode III (2004 Gamecube-exclusive title).
    Plot:
The Maltal Region's amounts of wild Pokemon have been dwindling. Arlana Perul, former Champion and leader of the most prominent resistance force the League has dubbed "Team Paradox," has concluded that the dwindling wild Pokemon population has been caused due to the League's "foolish" past-time sport of collecting something called the P.A.R.T. (Pokemon Alternate Reality Tarot). As the name implies, they're cards to collect (which the League churns out every day). However, there's a dark secret to the P.A.R.T... its double meaning...

P.A.R.T.s compress real Pokemon into data that trainers can use instead of actual Pokemon. The League deems it "safer for the good of everyone." However, due to a bug in the system that the League deems too minor to bother with, the Pokemon lose their individuality through the P.A.R.T. creation process, which makes a Pokemon "part" of what they used to be. Arlana seeks to liberate the Pokemon from any further harm caused by the P.A.R.T., and restore the bonds between Pokemon and humans. She seeks the legendary Zygarde for help... However, the League's current Champion, Alvus Sinclaire, seeks Zygarde to make it into yet another P.A.R.T. (and a very rare one at that) and continue his reign over the people of Maltal under his dictatorship. Whose side will you fight for?

    Features:
    • You can choose a side to fight with before starting your game: The Pokemon League or Team Paradox (there is a third, un-joinable side for the Mercenaries Association). However, there's more secrets to be found if one should choose to see both sides of the conflict through... That being said, there are multiple endings for this game, depending on the degree of completion.
    • Explore the Maltal Region, a place where power struggles a prevalent, and wild Pokemon are few.
    • Trainer outfit sets to accommodate your style.
    • Multiple save files will be used to keep track of your progress on each side (it will still be possible to play on one side on all saves, but you won't unlock the final chapter unless you play both sides).
    • Different kinds of difficulty await depending on the side you choose. The League is in ownership of many legendaries and top-tier Pokemon in the world, while Team Paradox uses a variety of Pokemon to keep you on your toes. Mercenaries can have either side's perks (depending on whose side they're fighting on at the time).
    • Custom Mega Evolutions and all Pokemon up to Gen 6, and the new L (League) and P (Paradox) Mega Stones! Much like how there were X/Y Mega Stones, there are now L/P Mega Stones.
    • Be on the lookout for a particular Easter Egg (Hint: It involves the DNA Splicers being used on Oshawott and a certain legendary...)

Custom Mega List (Subject to Change and/or Grow):
