Ok well I didn't end up giving my tank Dusknoir Pain Split and now i think i regret it. Which leads to my question; If I had, let's say, 2 HP and my opponent had 200 HP, would it raise my HP and lower my foes to equal amounts?

    It does something like that.

Yes, it does just that. I regretted it to, but I rebred for one.

lol DAMMIT! Now I wish I still had my female Impish Duskull... This better not take like 65 eggs again...

K well I tested Pain Split after taking damage while my foe had full hp, and then my health went down and thats all... Then I tried it after attacking the foe and it still went down... So how does it really work?

Probably because the foe had less HP than you. I'll take a wild guess here and you ran around in the grass just for someone to test pain split on, most likely a lv2 Bidoof or something.

It adds both HPs and splits them in half. if you have 300 Hp, and blissey has 700 HP, you'd both have 500 HP, but since you don't have 500 HP, you'll just have max HP.

Oh so Pain Split would work a lot better in battle tower then?

Yea, as long as they have more HP left than you.

    Related Question! **

~~ How the hell do you breed Pain Split onto Dusknoir? Who do you breed it with - sources say pokemon like misdreavus, grimer, swalot... But how do THEY learn it? What's the chain, in other words?

EDIT: Oh! So, Misdreavus at L28 -- Nevermind then!
