Just curious of how much you've scored in the PalPark. Note that users may only take up 1 spot with their HIGHEST score. Other than that, if it's 3900+ please provide proof. Enjoy posting.

i got 3438 if i recall, it was when i migrated a few of my hoenn legendaries.

not sure if thats my actual score but its within 50 of it im quite sure

3436 for me... >.> got several near that but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get higher...

Does anyone know how the score is calculated? Is it based on steps? (I checked SPP and found nada)
...or is it one of nature's mysteries?

part of it is what type of pokemon you find, different guys provide different points. such as legendaries or guys you would find in the safari zones in the old games, ect. give more points than a pidgey.

the other two things I am not too sure, but I think they have something to do with how many steps you take, and how much diversity in the guys you selected there are (if all the guys were in grass than you would get a faster time but lower type bonus or whatever)

?I dunno about the 2nd paragraph, it is just a guess. But the first I am sure about.

The score's based on the type of Pokémon transferred (I doubt you'd find any definite rankings or lists, but one can assume that Legendaries yield high scores and that Stage Two are better than Stage One and Basic/Baby) and on how quickly you complete the captures (but whether that is based on real time or on step count is unclear). Additionally, the maximum score one can achieve is 4000.

you can actually, the nintendo power ultimate guide provides locations of pokemon in the palpark, the score they give you, and how hard they are to find. of course they are just given with 6 different rankings rather than actual numbers.

    score: S, A, B, C, D, E
    rarity: VR, R, F, S, M, VM]

mew, celebi, deoxys, and jirachi are the only S score pokemon.

But is that actually derived from data extracted from the game, or from original research? Because one can rarely trust research by a non-official organisation. =/

no clue there, it is just in the game guide. not sure how they got it but I do hold it fairly creditable in comparison to "I found it on the internet"

also you get a bonus for having unique guys, so having two of the same guy causes you to lose some points.

    3360. Tailing Erebus!
Btw, are we allowed to update our scores once a considerably higher score is reached?

    Based off of 4 rules:
    1. The rarer the Pokemon, you get more points
    2. You get bonus points if every Pokemon you caught was a different type.
    3. You get bonus points if the Pokemon you just caught was a different type than the last. [ex. you catch a gastly first then a haunter - you get no bonus points ; you catch a gastly first then a bulbasaur - you get bonus points.]
    4. You get more points for the less time you take.

    I have 3226 points.

mine is 3432 on pearl. i think it was all legendaries from emerald or something like that.

I scored 3233 or similar. I migated LVL 40 Regi's and 70 Raquaza, 75 Kyogre and 78 Groudon from Emerald.

It doesn't even need to be considerably higher. Even if it's higher by 1 point LMK via PM/VM. Also, for future record posters, if it's your highest score but is still too low for th ladder, I might make a compilation of all other scores from 11th highest onwards so don't think it won't be important even if it won't be on the ladder. That way, we'll know your highest and we'll also be able to see if you're progressing.
