5th Gen Parallel Pokemon!

absol parallel.
just think about it. this one could be black and have a white horn on the opposite side of it's face. all this yin and yang is getting to me.

Tsutaja is obviously a parallel of the Grass starters... Let's try to guess Pokabu and Mijumaru now... Hmm... I'm guessing the Fire and Water starters? Perhaps...?

If that's the case, which I don't doubt considering that it's Isshu Pokédex entry number is 78, then Buneary does make a lot of sense (unfortunately u_u).

Meowth > Snubbull > Skitty > Buneary > Chiraamii, perhaps?

Yeah but it would have to be like the "Light" type everyone wanted or Psychic or Electric... and I would cry...
 
no, keep it dark type.
this on senses good things about to happen but the tries to make them not happen.

I hope for a new Arbok/Seviper parallel, maybe a desert snake, Ground/Poison sidewinder?

It has the ability to foretell natural disasters.
^soul silver pokedex^

rumored to sense disasters with it's horn, it became a target. it fled deep into the mountains.
^platinum pokedex^

in the anime movie it sensed somthing bad was about to happen to jirachi and tried to save it. in the tv show it sensed that a bridge (i think) was going to break and tried to stop it. but the towns people saw it when ever something bad happened so they all hated it.

it tries to stop BAD luck.
not take away GOOD luck.

actually, a tentacool parallel would be kinda cool, if it was based off a different kind of jellyfish, hopefully stronger and not as annoying.
 
Gear actually seems as if it's an evo or pre evo of bronzor, I don't wanna see parallels, that would mean they are really runnin out of ideas, and also, how hard is it gonna be to catch allnof 'em? Like, 650 pokemon

It tries to help yes, but sadly cannot because it gives bad luck to people thats why people were afraid of it... It senses disasters, tries to help, but sadly makes everything worse... I don't think even one NPC trainer had an Absol in any game so far because of the fear factor...

They have been doing parallels for awhile its not meant to be running out of ideas... They are clones they just fit the same position as say Koromori and Zubat... They are the same but hopefully were you would see Zubat you would see a Koromori instead/as well...

absol does not give bad luck. people just associate it with that because it appears at the time of a disaster.

if a bird came to your window and at the same time your favorite game broke, you would think that bird is bad luck.

that's just an example.

Absol DOES NOT cause bad luck. It's attracted to disasters and since it always seems to be present when there is one, people assume that it is the cause...

No I would think that my game broke the one time and cannot be played anymore... the bird would just be there once and not be a problem at all... If my game freezes every time the bird appeared I would believe that the bird is getting very annoying and that my game is crappy... (Like my copy of Red Dead Redemption...Damn Rockstar fails...)
 
this is getting a BIT off topic. For a parallel, i think that a ... umm ... Spiritomb? Parallel would do fine, but i have the strange feeling its going to be that ecto-bear. On second thought, no parallels please. I just want a strong pokemon with balanced stats and wide movepool.

I think Spiritomb's parallel is Desukan... I also think the Ecto-Bear is Rotom's parallel
 
First off, there is one more parallel. Many people already consider Zoroark a parallel of Lucario. And I agree with Shimama being a Ponyta parallel. Fire/Electric have often been used as parallels of each other. Look at Electabuzz/Magmar and Reshiram/Zeckrom.

Second, to the person who wants a Growlithe/Arcanine parallel... it's called Vulpix/Ninetails. Both are based off of statues commonly found in temples and shrines.

Third, Pachirisu really isn't all that weak. It's way stronger than Pikachu. Actually, its base stats are in between Pikachu and Raichu. It just needs an evolution to be a true Pikachu parallel.

Now, for the parallels that I want to see:
* A Grass or Water (maybe even both) parallel of Electabuzz/Magmar.
* A Scizor parallel that evolves from Pinsir.
* Agreed on the Absol parallel.
 
A Jynx male counterpart maybe?
 
Seriously, I guess the better Parallel Pokemon is Feebas. Even if I've never even have it, Its really a good one rather than Magikarp.
 
I don't think we've seen the BW Pikachu Parallel yet, and up to now there has always been one every generation. If Chiramii is not the Ratatta Parallel than it could be the first Pikachu Parallel to not have Electric typing since Marill.
