I heard this movie was meant to be really scary and well, we watched it at my residential college tonight.

It was DULL, NOT scary and well... almost a waste of time. It was fun to watch with a group of people though, since everyone was trying to scare each other and I just found everything funny (rather than scary).

The only bit that was creepy would be

at the very end when the guy gets flung to the camera and she is demonic.

Otherwise, I was laughing at the "scary" parts, mainly because of everyone else's reactions in the room. :D

I too was told Paranormal Activity was supposed to be really scary. In the end I found it lame. Sure it was creepy, but not so much scary. :[

Didn't like it at all. I'm a Cinephile. I didn't get the hype.
