Parkour?

I was watching the news and there was an interesting coverage on a new sport called parkour, which is like an obstacle race or something, but with walls, or parking lots, while doing gymnastics and jumps and all that stuff, then I go to the mall and I saw a group of about 5 people practicing it, even though they fell many times and even got hurt they kept trying to jump walls backwards, have you ever seen this sport around where you live?, I think it's dangerous.
