From what you descibed, the musical note, the little dance, etc. it seems as though your Pokémon might have obtained the Shining Leaf. You may want to check your Pokémon's status to make sure. You see, according to the details on your Pokémon, they usually show a green musical note above and do a little dance. This signals they have obtained a Shining Leaf.
