Pauls old Pokémon?

    As far as I know, I have been told Paul had travelled to a Hoenn, Johto and Kanto before hand. He'd clearly have strong Pokémon, so what do you think he'd have caught in the other regions? Which we may see in the Sinnoh Pokémon League.
     
    In Kanto I can imagine him having a Shiny Charizard, a Beedrill, and a Syther.
    Hoenn is hard to say.
     
    in jhoto it's pretty obvious it's murkrow then again idk if he had that when he met ash
     
    In the preview for Paul vs. Brandon it shows him using a Hariyama which he could have caught in Hoenn.
     
    I think Paul could possible have has one of the Kanto starters, preferably Charizard or Blastoise. Maybe a Scizor by the time he got to the Johto. Hmm, there are so many possibilites.

    I think he would have a Venasuar i dont know why i see him with a venasuar and i don t know why i just do lol
     
    WARNING: The following is speculation by an obsessive fan. Don't read if you don't like excessive fangasms!

    Who knows. He obviously caught a Ninjask once, but who knows what he did with it.

    Kanto:
    Machop
    Anything Strong

    Johto:
    (Maybe this is where he caught Murkrow and Elekid. .?)
    Anything Strong

    Hoenn:
    Vigoroth
    Anything Strong

    So, basically, the answer to this is: Anything Strong. XD Obviously. I don't think species in general matters to Shinji.​
     
    I wouldn't be surprised if Paul had captured a Feraligtr of the sort while traveling in the Johto region, it seems like the Pokémon he would catch and make stronger...
     
    It's hard to say since Paul likes to only use pokemon that are worth training for. If they don't have the right moves and EVs/IVs, he'll just throw them away. I think he may have some of the following:

    Kanto: No clue
    Johto: Scizor
    Hoenn: Hariyama
     
    I haven't listed a Pokémon from the Hoenn, but besides Hariyama, I think Paul might own a Mightyena with some pretty wicked (as in good) attacks. xD He seems to like the dark types seeing as he owns two of them already in his Sinnoh team.
     
    That's true he could have caught his Sneasel in the Johto. Come to think of it, not a lot of Paul's Pokémon that we see orginate from the Sinnoh at all xD Except for his Torterra, the Gliscor he caught, and that is all I can remember for now.

    I'm pretty sure if they keep Paul in the anime for the next many seasons to come we'll see more of his older Pokémon (I hope) xD.

    Absol does seem more possible than a Mightyena actually. You know, I can picture him catching a Zangoose back in the Hoenn.
