im about to buy something,im deciding between PBR and an ipod nano. what should i get?

Well rowan95, those are two completely different objects, so that is a decision whether you want a Pokémon game or a music device. Personally, I would choose Pokémon Battle Revolution because the game is really fantastic and any Pokémon trainer would enjoy it. It is also compatible with Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Versions.

Overall, I believe you should choose Pokémon Battle Revolution.

I don't you are right to say they are two different items, but for 50$, it is in no way worth it.

Just check out the other opinion threads.

No way, I would take the iPod Nano, but they are 2 very different Items

Go far which you like more but Pokemon battle revolution you'll find would not come to your expectations.Go for ipod nano if you like them the same

Id pick Pokemon battle revolution. You can listen to music anywhere.

Take the iPod Nano. I mean, sure PBR is fun, but what will give you more bang for you buck? An iPod.

To be honest, I call on neither.

Stadium-style pokémon games have been around since 2000 on N64. Watching the franchise become worldwide, I'd have to say that Pokemon Battle Revolution took a step back, actually lowering the content from older attempted games, making the true feel of a stadium experience a complete joke. PBR is not an acceptable enough stadium effort, as the idea of the game has been brought down to online or offline battles. The multiplayer mode, while it may be appealing to people, offers very little compared to what the DS had. Battling is only considered as one part of Pokémon's appeal, while the rest relies on exploring the surroundings, participating on side quests, and developing a team of creatures that suit your own style. Basically, all the things that Pokémon Battle Revolution abandons were in favor of fighting. In my opinion, I find combat in the series dull, only interesting when you compete against a friend, something that PBR allows, yes. However, all this game really has going for it are the visuals, and that's not saying much.

Those who have taken every last moment of enjoyment from D/P, might appreciate PBR as a a bit of a more challenge from the experience. For me, though, I simply regard this as a waste of money. I'd invest the cash for a game that's worth it, and frankly, I don't consider this one to be it.

As for the Nano, I personally don't prefer using iPods as my media player.

Ipod Nano in 97/100 circumstances. Unless you pretty much never leave your house or are the biggest Pokemon finatic (not likely since you didn't buy it when it came out), you'd want to get the Ipod.

Why one or the other? in the UK PBR is £40 and a nano is £120
Anyway, its gotta be the nano. As good as pbr may be i would literally die without my ipod classic :P

Well I think we've gotten to the point that they're two very different things. But you'll probably want the item that you do more with. Are you a person that loves pokemon and other video games? If so get PBR. Or are you the person that loves music? If so go with the ipod. Personally I would go with the ipod because I use music to motivate me with a lot of things like my skating, and i'm not so crazy about video games anymore

They aren't even related in any way, so, yeah, do whatever you want, depending on what you want.

    We don't need this.

    -CLOSED-

By the way, check other threads. PBR isn't worth the money for most people.
