Thats a bad idea. There is no need for a congress, sicne PC President and VP don't have that many powers.

First, Mods don't have too much power as you state.
Secondly, the President and VP aren?t that powerful throughout the forum. Except the VP which in this case is FG, who is a mod. And there is really no need for this congress as you state. We had elections only for Pres and VP, not congress. If we did we would have had a vote aswell.
 
first off, I'd like to state that I was against the idea of the president/VP, so I will definitely not go for any other crap dealing with real politics...

There's no need for Congress. There's no point to it all. Just like the others said,it would be a waste of a space to the forum. Also,you won't be able to post in he Admin board,you need to be an admin. And with that you have to be trustworthy and helpful. :cheeky:

I'm pretty sure the President and Vice Pres. positions are enough for now.

Oh sure, and while you're at it, destroy all the S-Mods, Praetors, and Admins too. I wouldn't recommend going after Abby, or Sawah will kill you. o.O;;

If you feel a Mod is abusing his or her privileges, you report them, not whine to other community members. Whining won't get you anywhere. But anyways, I doubt the higher authorities would listen, because Mods have their powers for a reason.

I simply just don't get the point. I'm a Admin MINUS ALL POWERS(just incase you don't know what that means, I'm less powerful than a mod). It's just a colored name! XD


President was a position designed to give a person the position of a wanna-be mod. I don't think positions for wanna-be members should be allowed...
Of course, we already have a usergroup for that *points to banned members* XD
 
there are plenty of wannabes here already. the kind that whine about rules being broken when they really should be minding their own business. (like those of us that freak out when there's a double post) i don't think there needs to be any more authority here. if anybody would have been a congressman/woman they already probably rat out offenders to mods.

Well thats kinda obvious... and I totally agree.
We have more of a problem with whiners, than we do about the problems they whine about(in my opinion)

For example, double posts are not allowed because we should try to reduce the amount of unneeded posts, and remember to use the edit button. But when 20 people spend their posts whining about a double post, that creates: 19 unneeded posts, 19 spammy messages, and 19 messages prone to getting off-topic.

It just makes me wonder...
 
Mods need to be destroid?! @_@ Excuse me but without us PC would be full of porno spammers and pokemon bashers that have no life! Think before you speek!

well, if the mods and admins do something that is unpopular the pepole of PC can PM the congress and we could get decisions reversed they dont have to have powers like mods maybe a different color name thats all but the colors of all congress members would be the same.

Have you been ignoring us this whole time? That would clog up the Forum Leaders page.
 
Forum Leaders are people htat actually do something for PC. Admins, S-Mods, Mods, Practeur, Abby, and President could be given duties if we evre think of anything *evil laugh* but mods are pretty much congress and Steve, Kwes, Casey, and Dubs is our Presidents.
 
Uh... nicely put? Anyways, if we had all those Congress, they'd show up on the Forum Leaders page and have some assumed powers or something. xD;;
 
You know what else is not needed? Repeatly having everyone say the same thing.. (just putting more text/thought into a post) And this thread. o.O Anyone agree? *feels alone* Though it actually is going around in circles.. and it looks like some people just dont get it no matter how much you repeat the matter.. so how many more times must we have members say this is a bad idea? (or maybe I'm just reuining the fun? ^_^)

honestly... that's the dumbest thing i've ever heard (the thing about destroying mods). without mods, this place would be a carnival for kids without lives spamming porn and crap all over, people would be bashing pokemon and everything else... and why would you want the mods destroyed anyways? is it because you're jealous of THEIR powers? (not like you could ever make a responsible mod XD) but in general, a congress is a STUPID idea.
