Peace Be With You (Action Packed RP)

Intro.
Sure, the Pokémon world is a friendly place where people and Pokémon can spend their time together having fun, but some places aren't as friendly as you would think...

The Shiro Region and Raku Island are two places where hatred is the only connection.
People from the Shiro Region have always been proud of their large, metropolis of a region, but those from Raku Island decided they didn't want to conform the way the Shirian's did.
The Rakian's claimed a small island a few kilometres off shore and started their own community of peace and harmony.
While the Shiro Region is the number one business capital of the Pokémon world, Raku Island is the most beautiful and loving place you could think of.
Shirian's hate this because the contrast between the two regions makes them look like the bad guys.

This hatred has been going on for 50 years, ever since the colonisation of Raku Island and now they're doing something about it.
The Mayor of Raku Island, the Head Professor of Raku High and the top five students on the island are all coming over to the mainland so that they can sign a peace treaty.
Let's just hope that they can survive the trip...

Plot.
You are one of the top five students travelling over from Raku Island with the Mayor and your Head Professor. Each of you have brought along your Pokémon and are happy to be doing something so important for your homeland. It's a long boat ride, followed by an Army Protected drive to the House of Parliament, where you'll meet the Mayor of Shiro and watch as the peace treaty is signed.

Are you ready to serve your country island?

Seems like a very thin plot and background to me, but I'll give it a chance. I'd like to know how this is going to work out with the boat ride - are we actually going to sit around on a boat for the entire game, with only the occasional assassination attempt for entertainment? Also, is this going to be chaptered, or what?

Lol. The only way you could make the resemblance better is if little Raku Island were a socialst nation. Is it?

He loves Pokemon and will do anything for his, even if that means dying to protect them.

The two quarreled whenever they saw eachother and eventually had a huge fight. Ruby was the only one in his family to witness it too.

It had been the day right after he had turned 8 and he had received a Mudkip from his father. He named it Sam and the two played together and loved eachother. Although, that day his father took Ruby out to teach him how to battle, and he was ambushed by his brother. Ruby had hidden in a bush nearby, as he watched his father fight. The two fought, and his father lost and his uncle almost killed Ruby. Ruby never lived with figthing, but whenever he thought about his uncle, he wanted to hit somebody or something really hard.

He hates the food kalemari, as he thinks that it was a friend or family member of his. He loves to make jokes with his body, sometimes including wagging his tail, and wriggling the spikes on his cheeks.

History: Ruby received Sam on his 8th birthday. His father had given Sam to him for a birthday gift, and Ruby loved each and every minute of it.

M@XWeru: I know it's not a very good background/plot, this idea just came to me and I wrote it up within ten minutes. Then I posted it here, I'm starting to think I should have thought it out a bit more... Oh, and it's not chaptered.

Rabbit: I don't know. I'm not friendly with the "formal" terms of saying that Raku Island is/has its own nation/government.

That sign-up isn't good enough for me to accept you. So I have to say DECLINED.
But! I'll give you a chance to edit your post and make it better, then, if it becomes worthy enough, I'll edit this post.

Add more to the appearance, personality, background, show me an RP sample and possibly add a bit more to Chi's details.

Understood, but you missed one part of my question.

Understood, but you missed one part of my question.

Oh, I did miss that. xD
Are you serious? Why would I make an RP about a group of people just sitting on a boat, that's just at the start. Later on the story will develop more and you'll see what this RP is really made of, I just don't want to give it away.

FrozenSnowman: Sign-ups will be open until I accept 5 people that I think will do a good job. Therefore, anyone can reserve a spot if they want... I could have 10 reservations, but that doesn't mean everyone will be accepted. Only the best 5, either way RESERVED.

Eh, no real point in reserving, then. My question was serious, but as an implied "what else are we getting?" type question. I'll have an application up at some point.

Edit: By the way, can I pretty please have a Kabuto as my starting pokémon?

Name: Jack Alexzander Smith

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Appearance: Jack has grey eyes, which is a mystery because all of his family has blue eyes. He has blonde hair that falls down a little above were his neck and shoulder meet. His smile is more of a funny guy smile instead of a formal smile. He is about average height for his age, and he is a little overweight, but he is a great runner and sprinter. He usually wears fashionable but not designer clothing. (OOC: I didn't say one shirt because I thought it would be kind of gross if someone went on an adventure and wore the same clothes...) His always wears blue jeans and Nike-like shoes. He has a blue backpack that has nothing on it besides red stripes that run every inch on it. He has a hat that has white and red stripes on it. He has a necklace, and at the end, is a strange stone he recieved when he got his Pokemon from his grandfather's friend. The stone sparkles-but it is not crystal.

Personality: Jack is smart, friendly, and the type of person that does things very well whether he is alone or with a group. He does not act smart, in fact, he acts stupid and when people call him stupid he just laughs. In school he gets straight A's and understands everything very well. He likes to make people laugh and acts goofy himself. Family is most important to him, and he will do anything for his family. He is obedient to his parents and his mentors, but you couldn't tell that when you would first meet him. He is very strong and loves sports, but can be calm in most situations. Through the years, Jack has devoloped quick reflexes that majorly help him in the situations he gets himself into. He tries not to show bad emotions like sadness or anger. However, when Jack is angry, sometimes he goes out of control. It's hard to get Jack angry or to make him cry, but it's possible. Jack treats everyone fairly except those who have done bad. Jack is a likable guy, but he doesn't do anything ridiculous, and he doesn't try to fit in. Jack really never causes trouble and he tries to help his friends get out of trouble or a sticky situation. Overall he's a funny, charming, trustworthy person.

Background: Jack was born on Raku island to a mother named Lina, and a father named Steven. His parent's were very strict and cruel to him; this hurt Jack very much and almost caused him to run away. His father abused him and his mother didn't care about him at all, and called him stupid. One day when Jack was nine, his parents just left Raku Island without telling him or anyone. Jack didn't no what to do so he ran to the police station. The police looked up his records and called his grandparents. Jack didn't even know he had grandparents, and he thought if his parents were cruel, their parents would be evil. But when his grandparents came in, he saw a fragile old lady and an old but strong looking man. His grandmother, the fragile old lady, sat next to him and told him everything was going to be all right. His grandfather went in a private room with a police officer and they talked silently. A half-hour later, Jack's grandpa came out with a satisfied look on his face. The police officer came over to Jack and told him he would be living with his grandparents from now on. Jack was very distraught by this; he didn't know how to react. But after seeing how kind his grandmother was, he thought his life would be getting a whole lot better. And he was right. It turns out his grandparents lived on the other side of Raku Island, but Jack's parents prevented them from seeing Jack because they didn't want to know Jack actually had a chance for a better life. His grandparents were both kind, loving, people and this changed Jack forever. Jack became more loose and funny, and improved his grades in school. When Jack turned fourteen, his grandfather died due to a heart attack. Jack got very depressed and stayed saddened for a month. His grandmother told him that she was sad about it, but she was even sadder to see Jack sad. Jack decided it was best for him and his grandma to try and keep their heads high, so Jack did more around the house and took the role of his grandfather. When Jack was fifteen, a few of his close friends and his grandmother were outside of the house and having a campfire. They enjoyed themselves, and at 11:00 pm they all went home and Jack and his grandmother went inside to go asleep. What they didn't know was that they forgot to put the fire out. Their house was located in a prarie-like zone with high grasses, and at 1:00 am their house and the field was up in flames. Jack and his grandmother quickly came out with Jack's Cleffa, and their most important possesions. The fire deparment quickly came, and put out the fire, but Jack and his grandmother had lost all of their possessions besides the ones that they had with them. Jack was struck by this and didn't know where they were going to live...But Jack's grandmother said that his grandfather was actually very wealthy and his grandmother owned the bank account with all of the money in it. Jack was suprised by this, because his grandfather was frugle and never showed he had wealth. It turned out that his grandfather invested all of his money at the time in PokeApps, and PokeApps became a huge success and they made a great deal of wealth. (I really hope they have PokeApps on Raku Island...) Jack's grandmother said he never showed it because he didn't want money to interfere with their current life. So a week later, they bought a medium-sized house and things they needed. Now that Jack knew about the money, Jack's grandmother said that in his Will, Jack's grandfather gave him most of the money. His grandmother knew Jack would be responsible with it, so she told him that. To this day, Jack and his grandmother live alone together. Jack wanted to make a change so that's why he wanted to go on the boat. Jack's grandmother believes that Jack WILL make a change, and WILL be the best he can be.

RP Sample: (RP sample from "Pokemon: The Virus that engulfs all")
Blarim awoke two hours after he and his Pokemon got struck by the mad Staravia. He rubbed his head and looked around. "Turtwig! Turtwig, were are you?!" Screamed Blarim, looking around in fury for his Turtwig. "Turt..." Turtwig muttered. Blarim just realized Turtwig was laying down behind him, looking like he too just woke up. Turtwig had an odd look on his face-he had never seen Blarim this mad before. "It's alright, Turtwig." Said Blarim, fully turning around to pat Turtwig. "Where's Shinx?" Asked Blarim, looking around for his electric friend. He got his response as Shinx walked in to the small clearing where Turtwig and Blarim had settled. Shinx had what looked like an oval green bean in it's mouth-a berry that grew in CelesticTown. Blarim recognized it as the Micle Berry. The berry itself was one of the most dryest berries-but it made anything eaten with it sweet. "Shinx, don't eat that. Here, let me get something out of my bag." Said Blarim, searching around in his bag. He found some rice balls he packed before leaving. "Here." He said, breaking one into three pieces for Turtwig, Shinx, and him. He put the rice ball in front of Turtwig and waited for Shinx to come over. Shinx walked over, and placed the berry in front of Blarim. Blarim took the berry and set a rice ball in front of Shinx, then tore the berry evenly for the three of them. He put the pieces on all of the rice balls. "Dig in, guys." Said Blarim, picking up the rice ball to eat. He had Pokemon food, but Turtwig loved human food, and Blarim wanted to see what Shinx thought about human food before eating Pokemon food. Shinx sniffed the rice ball and took a big bite. Fortunetly, Shinx smiled. "Is that good, Shinx?" Blarim asked. Shinx nodded it's head. Blarim then looked at Turtwig and saw he was eating his food with hastiness. They just sat there eating, when a black streak flashed by in the sky and came towards them. "Staravia." Blarim whispered to himself.

"Turtwig, Shinx, get ready!" Said Blarim, getting up with his rice ball in hand. But when Staravia came down, something was different...Oh, it was just a Starly. Blarim sighed gratefully. "Well, that's good." Said Blarim. He didn't feel like catching a Starly-he wasn't too big of a fan of flying pokemon. About ten minutes later, they all finished eating. "On to JubilifeCity!" Shouted Blarim joyfully. He and his Pokemon didn't talk about the Staravia attack at all...It was all in the past. Water under the bridge. He and his Pokemon pretty much already walked most of the route. They were just slowed down by the Staravia. They could see JubilifeCity in the distance. A large city, it was. But they still had a ways to go. Plus, Shinx was starting to get tired. "Come back, Shinx!" Called out Blarim, taking it back into it's Pokeball. Turtwig seemed quite then usual. Turtwig was usually a quiet Pokemon, but it still made noise. But Turtwig's leaf was drooping and it walked slowly. "We need to get you in a Pokecenter, buddy." Said Blarim. "Come back into your Pokeball." As Blarim got out the Pokeball, Turtwig shook it's head. "You don't want to go into your Pokeball?" Turtwig shook it's head again. "Ok...But I'm taking you to a Pokecenter when we get to Jubilife. Turtwig didn't even reply. He was really worried about Turtwig now. But luckily they were about 30 feet from JubilifeCity. They walked into Jubilife city and were greeted by the smells of a city. The only big city Blarim had ever been in was SnowPointe city, and Veilstone city, but SnowPointe was actually very small, it just spanned over a large area. They saw the Pokecenter soon, and they walked in. "Pokeball, please." Said Nurse Joy when he greeted her. He took Turtwig back into his Pokeball, and handed Shinx's ball and Turtwig's ball to her. "Is that all?" Asked Nurse Joy. "Yes, and thank you very much." Said Blarim. "I didn't become a nurse to not to my job...Please sit down and wait, while I make a checkup on these Pokemon. Blarim sat and waited for what must have been ten minutes, when Nurse Joy came back out. She was sweating. "Are my Pokemon all right?" Blarim said, springing up from his chair. "I...I..I haven't se..seen this in a long time. Your Turtwig is perfectly fine, but your, uhh, Shinx ha-has something very ba-bad going on wit-with it."

"What is wrong with Shinx?!" Asked Blarim, practically yelling. Faces turned to him. "Why don't you come with me..." Said Nurse Joy, entering the room were she preformed her checkups. Turtwig was sleeping, and he looked perfectly fine. But Shinx was shifting and turning in it's sleep and had a pale face. "What is wrong with my Shinx...?" Asked Blarim, trying but failing to be calm. "I..I haven't seen it in a long time. But your Shinx won't wake up." Said Nurse Joy, pacing. "Why?" Asked Blarim, struggling to contain himself. "The last Pokemon that had this woke up after a very long time. But it had nightmares all the time while it was sleeping." Answered Nurse Joy. "How?" Asked Blarim. "I don't know! I really don't know! So please, stop asking me it!" Yelled Nurse Joy. Blarim had never seen a Nurse Joy this angry...He stopped asking. "Listen. I need to make a few phone calls. But you need to stay in Jubilife city until I am done." "How long will that be?" Asked Blarim. "I don't know...Maybe a day." Blarim sighed. "But I need you to leave now..." Said Nurse Joy, escorting him to the door of the Checkup room. "I am sorry, I really am" Said Nurse Joy as she pushed him out and shut the door. Blarim just sighed to himself. He didn't get Turtwig, either..."Here." Said Nurse Joy, opening the door. She gave him Turtwig's ball and shut the door. Blarim opened the ball and Turtwig came out. "I don't know what's wrong...But we have to deal with it. Ok?" Blarim said. Turtwig nodded. They walked out of the Pokecenter into the streets of the big city...

Pokémon.
(You've only got one of them and it's in its basic/baby stage)

Nickname: Cleff

Species: Cleffa

Gender: Female

Moves: Pound, Sing, Metrenome, Wish.

Appearance: Cleffa looks basically like all of the other Cleffas. Except it's left ear is always bent, and it's right ear is always perked up. Jack thought that this was because Cleffa is relaxing it's ear, but Jack's grandma thinks something is wrong with it's left ear hearing.

Personality: Cleffa always has a smile on her face. No matter what's wrong, Cleffa tries to make things better. However, Cleffa works hard and is always responsible. When Cleffa is sad, she sings. This is why nobody tries to make her sad; because when she's sad, their asleep. Cleffa always tries to meet other Pokemon, and loves to dance. Cleffa is very humble and shows determination towards other people. Cleffa loves fruits like apples and oranges, but hates vegetables. Cleffa also likes to play pranks on other people, but their good natured pranks that don't hurt anybody.

History: Cleffa was given to Jack by his grandfather before he passed away. Jack's grandfather's friend had a farm of Clefairies and Clefables and bred them. On their farm, they rarely get a Cleffa. But Jack's grandfather's friend liked Jack because he helped raise the pokemon on his farm. So, as a sign of his gratitude, he gave Jack a Cleffa. Jack was excited about this, but Cleffa was very timid and shy in the first few weeks of their relationship. But then Jack taught Cleffa that you can have fun and not be hurt. Due to this, Cleffa became the Happy Pokemon she is today. One time, Jack's grandfather's Growlithe accidentally hit Cleffa with it's foot; Cleffa didn't get hurt, but Growlithe strangely followed her around all day. Jack's grandfather said that sometimes Cleffas have an ability called Cute Charm, and that when something comes in physical contact with a pokemon that has it, they will fall in love with them for a little bit. Jack's reaction was just a long laugh.
(OOC: Sorry for the shortness on the Pokemon's bio...I couldn't think of much to say)

Name: Lucy Diamante

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Appearance: Lucy is an average height of five feet. She is rather slim and her body is considered one of her most attractive parts. Her hair is a rather shiny black and it is in a complex bun. Detatching from the bun near the base are a couple strands of hair that form a ribbon on both sides and two loops come from the outter edge to the center of the bun forming pretzel like rings. It is lastly secured by two chopsticks and at most comes down to her neck. Her face is rather clean and without pimples. She wears highly sophisticated glasses and usually a serious expression is upon her face. Her common attire consists of a dress that falls down to a point just above her knees and a long-sleeved matching shirt. Most girls carry purses around, however, Lucy perfers books than purses and so always carries a book around for which ever reason may occur that requires a book.

Personality: Having been rather intelligent she has always been stuck up. She has always been highly regarded for her natural born intelligence and position in many intellectual clubs. Having such a high status getting anything less than the highest marks is failure and she'll scorn any of her clasmates for this. Truthfully she hopes that by angering her classmates that she can help then improve themselves and challenge them to do better. It's an unshown kindness that she gives to her peers. By watching out for them and fussing over them about thier grades she actually sees herself as a motherly character and she cares for them.

Background: Her father came from a large wealthy family and her mother an innocent beautiful woman came from a poverished background. She had captivated him and he ran away from his family. The two lived together on Raku island peacefully except for the husbands natural greed of money. They were poor and Mr. Diamante could not handle it, so he spent most of his time working at a local resturant and investing in oil companies over seas. They quickly became quite wealthy, but her mother loved the simplicity. She refused to move into a mansion like he wanted, but she finally submitted to him when she discovered her pregnancy.

The two of them loved Lucy and would spoil her with public tutors and foriegn goods. Mr. Diamante sought to perfect Lucy by heavily scolding her and whipping her whenever her faults showed. Her mother dissapproved of his actions and ran away with Lucy. They returned to live the simple life, but they had been brought in to an even worse poverty. Finally all the stress got to her and Lucy's mother died of a heart attack. Lucy then was forced to live on her own and she received a local education until finally she was allowed to transfer to a better high school and find a job. She now attends Raku high.

Other: She usually volunteers at the library when she is not working at the flower shop or attending school.

"Pit, Pat, Pit, Pat" his sandals sound with each step. Kai a sixteen year old blacksmith prodigy waits for a chance to flee the past.

"Lilycove City, the town of Commerse. Truely it's by chance that today is the day my life starts a new and I am in that very town where I could possibly make large profits off my old trade." Kai whispered to himself being interupted by a voice "Okay. All who intend to board must prove themselves by battling a guard!"

"Hmm, a guard." Kai whispered to himself while looking for a guard from ontop of a pile of crates.

Once Kai had spotted the guard he tip-toed from the top of the crates and jumped down behind him. He then placed his first blade under the chin of the guard and whispered into his ears "It seems that we must do battle."

"What the..." the guard responded and atempted to slug Kai, but Kai was too fast for him and hand backflipped to avoid getting hit.

"I'd advise on not doing that again." Kai said in the guards direction and upon saying so the guards outfit had been revealed to have been sliced five times.

"Arr, Steelix, punish that twerp. There's no way I'm lettin' ya sail with me!" the guard screamed at Kai.

"Fine, then let's make things interesting." Kai said with a devilish grin and he threw his sword Epemetheus right next to the guards neck.

"What?" the guard said confused and picking up the blade.

"Every time one of our pokemon takes damage the other will be slice with thier blade. If one of thier pokemon were to be unable to battle then the other takes thier opponents head." Kai said to the man.

"Your crazy!" the sailor responded back.

"Suit yourself. I guess you forfit then and that's the same thing as being unable to battle." Kai said and then ran towards the guard with his sword in hand.

"Okay, okay." the man finally gave in.

"Froslass, begin with hail!" Kai shouted out in the air.

An odd woman in a kimono appeared. She giggled a bit and then waved her hands about causing the clouds to grow dark and ice to fall.

The Steelix stared in awe at the Phenomenon. The ice fell on the Steelix and the Steelix screamed.

"That's one." Kai said and he sliced him at the side.

"Argh, Steelix Iron Tail!" the guard issued in pain.

"Froslass, Double Team!" Kai said cooly.

The Steelix swung its tail about and atempted to hit each speed created illusion, but to no avail for Froslass's speed was to great that the Steelix couldn't even hit a copy. The Steelix was eventually forced to stop its rampage when another piece of ice struck it.

"That's two." Kai whispered into the guards ear. The guard was astonished at Kai's speed and Kai sliced him on the other side.

"Froslass use Ominous wind." Kai shouted to the woman.

The Froslass giggled again and a wind raced by picking up the ice and slamming them into the Steelix. The Froslass began to glow an erie purple.

"That's three." and Kai sliced the man on one of his shoulders.

"Steelix headbutt!" the man shouted seeing the Froslass too busy giggling.

The Steelix rammed into her, but he just passed through her and rammed into a crate. The Steelix was stricken by hail once more.

"Four!" and Kai sliced him on the other shoulder.

"Finish it Froslass! Blizzard!" Kai screamed at his Froslass.

"No, Steelix! Use Flamethrower." the guard shouted in response.

A great swirl of ice formed around the Froslass and she threw the mass of storm towards the Steelix. The Steelix then spat a power stream of flames back at it.

"Ominous wind, Froslass." Kai said in a calm voice.

The Froslass was filled with power and the Storm doubled in power. The flames were easily defeat by the fearsome purple storm. The Steelix collapsed after it was struck by the last round of hail and the blizzard combo.

"I won." Kai whispered into his ear. He then stabbed his sword into the crate behind the guard just missing his neck.

"Now let me on board." Kai said to the man he had just spared.

The terrified guard lead him on board and a few minutes later the ship left the docks.

Pokémon.

Nickname: Enchi

Species: Swinub

Gender: Male

Moves: Oder Sleuth, Powder Snow, Mud Sport, Tackle

Appearance: Other than being a natural Swinub its fur looks like spikes.

Personality: Enchi is a real pig who will easily ditch Lucy if he smells food. Even if the food has already been digested or is being eaten by something else he will still scavenge for crumbs or chew on it. Enchi already knows that he's pretty dim, so he mostly takes orders from Lucy so that he won't make mistakes. He makes a great pet for her and is sweet. He commonly rubs against Lucy's leg to comfort her and is completely obedient to her if not in the presence of food.

History: He was received when she had been pester by students of rumors of a mysterious ghost that would eat the kitchen food. She lured it into a cage by using bait. Once trapped in the cage she let it outside of campus, but he followed her home. At her house she fed it there and like a stray animal it returned to her house each day. The two grew close and one day she followed the Swinub to where it spent its time away from her house. She discovered that the Swinub was a lonely and unwanted pokemon, so she captured it and gave him a home.

Name: Kisa Alexandrov
Age: 15
Gender: Female

Appearance: Kisa is what you might call a 'natural Russian beauty.' Standing at 5 feet 7 inches, or 170.18 centimeters and weighing 119 pounds, or 53.98 kilograms , with long, slender limbs and graceful poise, she does seem to be one who would tend to attract a fair amount of attention, though not commanding it. Her hair is long, straight, and dark blonde in color, worn in either a French or English braid, the very tip barely brushing her waist, and her skin is a pale cream color, with a slight hint of a tan from her time spent playing tennis outdoors. However, the most striking attribute of Kisa's overall appearance is undoubtedly her eyes, thundercloud gray in color, which spark and flash when she's angry and glitter in the rare moment's when she's truely happy. Her mouth is narrow, with pale lips, and often set in a hard grimace, or in a completely neutral expression that could almost be a half-smile, though those who know her know that she rarely smiles earnestly, more often smiling in an almost devilish manner.

As a rather serious tennis player, Kisa takes it upon herself to dress the part. Her normal day-to-day clothing consists of a white knit tennis short, though she frequently switches it with a white pleated tennis skirt, and a white tennis vest. Her shoes are, unsurprisingly, white sneakers, and Kisa somehow, and unbelievably, manages to keep the entire ensemble, completely spotless for the most part. For formal occasions, she replaces the white tennis clothing with a satin, blue gray halter dress, a welcome change from the monotonous outfit of all-white that she tends to wear, and delicate silver sandals with a low heel. On colder days, she simply adds a black track top, and occasionally, when it gets cold enough, she might add matching black track pants to replace her tennis skirt or shorts. Kisa also carries a white visor around in her bag, though she doesn't wear it frequently.

Personality: Kisa was born an intelligent and athletic girl. She has always had an oddly quick mind and wit, which usually came in handy with her tennis training. She was also quick on her feet, and had well developed hand-eye coordination, with what some might call 'raw talent.' However, the harsh training that she has had in tennis during her childhood has made her an isolated person, though she has always been somewhat selfish, considering herself to be a notch above everyone else. Oftentimes Kisa is moody and quiet, responding to questions often with one word answers. Due to this, she's been deemed unsocial, and people, for the most part, have left her alone, and she's become unused to being around people as a result. Kisa will hardly ever look someone directly in the eye, and usually only speaks to someone to respond sharply to a question or comment. Other's have said she's "not normal," and their assumption is, in fact, somewhat true. Kisa's one for work rather than play, laughs coldly, speaks in either a flat, icy, or agitated tone. Though she's always been serious, she takes it to a new level when playing tennis, or even during school, as her high level of competitiveness comes with a desire to be nothing short of tops. Therefore, her enthusiasm for tennis is matched by her enthusiasm for her studies, and she feels that she has to prove something, though what she has to prove even she isn't sure of.

Background: Kisa was born to parents that were too busy to spend much time with her, though they recognized her intelligence and athletic ability early on. From the time she was three years old, she had begun to train in a tennis facility, from morning to evening, she never had time for friends, or anything outside of her sport, for that matter. Every morning she woke up around 6:30 in the morning, and left with her mother for the facility. When they reached the tennis facility, her mother would leave for work, and she would train for a day, volleying, running laps, doing various different activities to improve her serve, to make her faster on her feet, to make her muscles more limber, until her mother came and pick her up in the evening. However, not one to complain, Kisa stuck with her training like it was the only thing that mattered to her, even if it was far from true. Though she, like any other child, began school at the age of 5, starting with kindergarten, she still continued with her training. School, however, was almost like her escape, there, she didn't have to run laps continuously, spend the day volleying back and forth with her instructor, or sometimes another student, or performing stretching exercises. She could learn other things, most of which had to tie in to tennis, however, school wasn't always completely enjoyable for her either. Though always a good student, Kisa wasn't one of the most likeable, due to her tendency to be more independent, and the fact that she didn't seem like the sociable type. She wasn't usually the first choice for a partner in projects, and would sometimes go for days without speaking to anyone. Mysteriously, however, this all turned around when it came time, towards the end of the day, for physical education class, when they had to choose teams. For some strange reason, it seemed to her, she was constantly one of those picked first, and for a long time she couldn't figure out why, until she realized that it wasn't her that her classmates wanted on their team, it was her athletic ability. In fact, her athletic ability was the only reason she was picked. Eventually, she became the type of person that doesn't really care much about others, though she loved her parents, her instructors, and her school, fitting in became less important to her, and she didn't look at anyone as an equal. A little after she turned 13, however, she found an injured Swablu in the bushes, and apparently her decision to stop caring so much about other people didn't apply to Pokemon, since she picked it up and carried it to the PokemonCenter without a second thought, and the two were inseperable a week later. Though Swablu helped her to loosen up just slightly, she still remains the outcast at school, and still doesn't really care.

Other: Due to the fact that she is of Russian descent, she speaks fluent Russian, and prefers to speak it, since most people she knows aren't familiar with the language.

RP Sample: Since I'm new to PC, I'll include a sample from a different roleplay on another site. I hope it's okay if its about wolves. =/

Gwile blinked curiously as she analyzed the scent in the air. It was earthy and slightly musky, and she crinkled her nose at the unfamiliar scent. It wasn't deer or any type of bird, and her young, untrained brain had difficulty putting her paw on what it was. Cautiously, she padded forward, eager to investigate, though slightly wary of what animal was occupying the clearing just ahead. With a light rustling of leaves, her head poked through a bush, and her eyes fixed upon an enormous mass of dark brown fur streaked with lighter shades. The animal was easily three times as big as her, though she was small for a wolf, and walked on four, hoofed paws. Its face was long, like a deer's, but its eyes weren't quite as round, and its nose was lumpy, and, on top of its head, were two small bumps. The animal didn't seem to have noticed her, and was browsing through a bush, occasionally snorting or grunting and twitching its ears. While Gwile stood rooted to the spot in wonderment at the discovery of this new type of animal, the creature suddenly lifted its head, looked towards Gwile's hiding spot, and charged.

A yelp of surprise escaped the wolf's open jaws as her instincts told her to run. Twisting her body in a curious manner, she pulled free of the branches that tugged at her fur and pelted forward, all thought escaping her brain as it registered what was going on. The creature seemed to be determined to run her over, as her legs desperately carried her back to the cave where the rest of her pack would be. The creature, however, continued plowing through the undergrowth. This place seems so…unfamiliar, she thought, have I been here before? Preoccupied with her thoughts, she hardly noticed when her feet hit open air, and the ground fell away in front of her. For a moment, she moved forward, carried by her own momentum, before she began the short fall that carried her towards the snarling river. The creature stopped haltingly, snorted once, then turned around and plodded back into the forest as Gwile hit the water with a howl.

The cool water drenched her fur and weighed her down, dragging her farther away from the bank as the current carried her downstream, pushing her underwater at times. Her paws churning furiously, she felt a stream of coldness trickling down her throat as her head broke the surface of the water. Gasping once, her vision blurred and the sunlight seemed to separate into droplets as coldness closed over head head. It was an endless rhythm, breath, dragged under, surface, breath, dragged under, surface, though Gwile knew, at some point, they were sure to come to a waterfall. A large pond's worth of water slipping into a free fall every second, along with her, and when she hit the bottom, the force of the water would likely push and hold her under. If she couldn't escape the cauldron that formed beneath the waterfall…she shook water droplets from her fur as her head broke the surface, breathing in deeply as her paws dragged across rough stone and sand…sand? Without a thought, she pushed forward, and felt her paws brush across a mixture of broken stone shards and sandy clay material. Blinking, she opened her eyes, though not noticing that she was still underwater, and say a whirl of gray rushing in front of her eyes, with a hint of green. Gasping, she pushed upwards and her head broke the surface. No longer was she caught in the middle of the river, her energy being exhausted until she fell into the grip of the rushing water. Somehow, she had been pushed out to the side, and drifted towards the riverbank. Padding through the water, she felt her paw touch dry land, lucky…she thought as she dragged herself towards the forest. She had scented wolf, perhaps they would be able to help her return to her pack…

Pokémon.
Nickname: Sky
Species: Swablu
Gender: Female
Moves: Peck, Growl, Astonish

Appearance: Sky is blue gray, a color quite different from the typical sky blue color of a Swablu, though several of Sky's feathers are tipped with sky blue. Sky's feet are small, scaled, and three toed, and she possesses two long, soft, cottony wings which she often folds around herself, giving the appearance of a white cloud with blue gray streaks. Her one defining mark is a scar along her back, which she obtained when attacked by a Swellow.

Personality: Sky is, in personality, very much like Kisa, though perhaps a bit more sociable. She isn't one who gets along well with other Pokemon, especially other Swablu, and will compete with others for Kisa's attention. Kisa is the only person she trusts, and, if provoked, Sky will either scratch or peck without much hesitation. However, Sky exhibits loyalty and affection for those that she does come to trust, and is considerably gentler and happier.

History: Sky was hatched among a flock of Swablu, though was always a bit weaker than her siblings, or any of the other hatchlings. Though she was accepted well enough, she had always stood out in the flock due to her unusual coloring. Sky finally was abandoned by the flock during migration, and sought shelter in a tree that was apparently, though unknown to her at the time, under the ownership of a rather aggressive and extremely defensive Swellow. It was when he attacked her that she obtained the scar on her back, and Sky only found the strength to fly far enough to escape from the Swellow, before landing in the bush, too tired to find another unoccupied tree. Kisa found Sky the next morning, and, worried about Sky's condition, brought her to the PokemonCenter, where she quickly recovered. Since then, Sky and Kisa have been inseperable, and seem to share a bond that's been there before the two met.

Name: Jodie Marx
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance:
[PokeCommunity.com] Peace Be With You (Action Packed RP)

Jodie is a lithe, tanned girl of average height for her age. She has shoulder-length, black and unkempt hair that she keeps propped under her cap most of the time - she'd keep it shorter, but her entire family as threatened to excommunicate her if she goes around "looking like a boy". Charlie's eyes are a dark brown, her lashes short and her eyebrows trimmed to little more than thin, dark lines. Desensitized and urbane, she rarely blushes. She's fit and has some visible muscle; though she's far from 8-pack-worthy, her body shows the signs of outdoorsman tendencies. She's always got some manner of dirt under her fingernails.

Despite her tomboyish and carefree style, Jodie is none the less the owner of a varied and eccentric wardrobe. Her usual attire consists of a purple suit and pants, with jagged green lightning bolts running vertically across the front and back. This getup she combines with a sleek pair of sneakers and a matching purple cap. The purple is a homage to poison pokémon, which she adores (from a distance). Topping off her outfit is a set of eight grey rings spread evenly across her hands - these rings contain magnet-tipped wires (PokéYo brand name (c) 1998-2009 Silph Co Ltd.) that attach to pokéballs, enabling their use as yo-yos. All her clothes, unless otherwise implied, are made out of 35% cotton and 65% polyester, washable in 40 degrees Celsius and bought with no regard to child labour or eco-friendliness.

Personality:
The sporty outdoorsman of the class, Jodie is one of those people who suddenly seem to receive a jolt of energy when they are out in the wilds. An avid camper when she was a kid, she later turned to biking, archaeology and finally hiking. Though urban environments bore her, she's always done her best to counter that effect by taking up various typical city sports as well - though she's not particularly fond of school, she had managed to become a top student simply by the motivation that getting done means getting out - of course, she also had the unfair advantage of a high IQ. Fun-loving and carefree, Jodie avoids anyone she thinks takes anything too seriously. From seeing juggler trainers, she got the idea of yo-yoers; using her canny smarts and sense of style, she designed - and talked the local super nerd into developing - the "Pokéyo", which eventually made its way to the Silph Company's R&D and became the product we all love and cherish (or not, as the case may be). As the first ever pokémon yoyoer, Jodie is currently spearheading what she hopes might be a new trend. She has long since given up her attempts to persuade the islanders to try it, however.

Though generally a nice person, Jodie is known to be a wiseacre whenever she gets the chance, and to have a love for solving problems with violence. She takes pride in her battle skills and has a tendency to call other people "baby" for no real reason. Except for pokémon battle and her life, there are few things she takes seriously - for good and bad. She doesn't have a keen sense of ethics and moral either, though she's smart enough not to flaunt that part of her personality.

She likes beef, strawberry shortcake, pokémon battles and unrestricted humour. She dislikes Cerulean import bikes, TV-shows with more than 30 episodes, cook books, liquorice, bus rides and rock music. In her spare time, Jodie likes to think up new yo-yo moves and test them out on anyone close enough, whenever she's not out hiking or biking or something. She tends to watch every fighting event she can, and to cheer loudly for either side.

Background:
Jodie's upbringing was a little out of the ordinary. Her father was an ex-starving painter become pokémart attendant, and her mother was a retired pokémon trainer become archaeologist. Both parents had at one point been considered the black sheep of their families - the mother had broken a long line of famous archaeologists to leave on a pokémon journey, and the father had abandoned a large family of soldiers, allegedly members of the warrior caste since the days of the samurai. Needless to say, Jodie grew up with many different influences. The only thing that everyone seemed to agree on was that exercise was important; from her mother who raised her much like one would her pokémon, to her many cousins, uncles and grandparents on her father's side trying to save their niece/grandchild/cousin from her father's deranged clutches. Jodies response was to flee, not into books or anything metaphorical like that, but to actually physically flee into the woods... which only led to more exercise, of course. In the end, she simply learned to love it. So intense were the influences of her family that she had not even began to go to school before she'd become infatuated with the great outdoors.

School, she found boring on the whole. Hammering her way through each subject, she attributed her success to a healthy mind in a healthy body and went on to join several of the physical activity clubs. Jodie went on and off in many of those, finding most too confining for her taste. Eventually, she went on to found a moderately successful club of her own, for camping and hiking.

As regards her family, Jodie has avoided most of their warlike tendencies thanks to fierce protection efforts from her father. Still, they all have christmas together and she has been exposed to the tougher sides of life - most of her father's army of relatives approve of her in general, though they are saddened that she's content to remain a civilian. Her mother's family had given up on her from birth, certain that she'd deviate from the family tradition just like her mother did. Of course, encountering the other end of the family didn't make them more hopeful. While Charlie did try her hand at the family trade a few times, those expeditions were not to her taste, and she was given up on immediately.

Nickname: N/A
Species: Kabuto
Gender: Male
Moves: Scratch, Harden, Toxic
Appearance:
Though Kabuto isn't naturally different from the rest of his kind, it looks different every time Jodie happens to leave his pokéball at home. Her would-be painter father always seems to find the time to turn Kabuto's shell into an "art" piece. His latest Kabuto piece is a picture of a red-scaled mermaid, seen from behind on a cliff amidst crashing waves; the picture is highly stylistic but not all that bad, although the lines have begun to wear away.

Personality: Kabuto is a mellow fellow. Used to life as a painter's canvas and raft rather than a battler, he is neither particularly aggressive nor competitive. Kabuto isn't interested in much other than to relax - it isn't even a glutton. It will obey orders if put in a fight, but only so that it can get back to rest as soon as possible. It's friendly but not playful, and mostly ignores both people and other pokémon, relying on its thick shell to keep it from being bothered. Its favourite strategy in battle is to spew its Toxic on the opponent and then Harden, leaving the opponent to bash it in futility until they drop.

History: Received as a birthday present from her mother, in an attempt to make Jodie join the pokémon club. Kabuto's lethargic nature caused that attempt to fail.
