Move over Politoed, there's another drizzler in town! Drizzle has been added as one of Pelipper's abilities, making it a staple for rain teams especially those who are looking for some key resistances/immunities against Bug-, Fighting-, and Ground-type moves. Pelipper's 's main selling point versus Politoed is its access to several utility moves such as Tailwind, slow U-Turn, Defog, and Knock Off, a much needed recovery move in Roost to be able to keep itself healthy for setting up rain again whenever it's needed, as well as a spammable move in Hurricane.

Do you think Pelipper will replace Politoed as the premier Drizzle-user for rain teams? What does Pelipper offer that Politoed simply cannot provide?
How do you think Pelipper will fare in the Gen 7 meta? What are your overall thoughts?

Pelipper straight up outclasses Politoed as a Drizzle setter by virtue of reliable recovery to set up rain again if needed and a slow U-turn to get rain attackers in safely.
