Perish song

I was thinking of having a pokemon with persih song and mean look combo, like gengar.

I just wanted to know if this combo is usually allowed in online battles or not.

I am pretty sure that combo is allowed, the only problem that I see with it (And correct me if I am wrong here) is that the pokemon who use mean look have to stay in play for the effects to last. If that is right then they would just focus all their attacks on that pokemon, and I am sure they could take it out and swap their pokemon in the 3 turn limit.

But that is just my opinion

Headhunter is right. It is a tricky move, but very unexpected, (pretty sneaky), and very legal. Mismangius does it much better than Gengar, as it is too frail. Anyway, you have a 3 turn limit (or two turn, however Perish Song works) to take out the poke, but it can shield itself with moves like Substitute & Protect.

When Mismang - whatever- does it on Blissey, consider Blissey a rotten egg.

Yeah i was thinking of a Gengar or Mismangius with persih song, mean look and substitute.

But i was going to go with gengar as i could hypnosis them. Well unless Mismangius can use hynosis im not sure.

Gengar is far too fragile. As soon as it Mean Looks, it'll get KO'ed.
