Personal Villa?

Do you remember secret bases from sapphire/ruby/emerald version? Do you think it's a good idea to have a personal villa?Instead of secret power, maybe purchase a villa or unlock throughout the game? Think about it.... Plant, your own berrygarden, Ability to decorated your villa, change your outfits by purchasing a wardrobe(?), have your pokemons to be freely enjoy their time at your villa. I'm not sure about cooking. Could we unlocked recipes at certain level along with your berrygarden like in Pokeheroes?

Anyway, what's your thought? Yay or nay?

When they said that things from past pokemon games would "all come together", it got me hoping that they might impliment all of the major features from past games like secret bases, pokemon that follow you, ect.

It would be so cool if Pokemon could follow you again! I don't know how much data all those sprites will take, though. There will probably be around 800 sprites for this new gen, so I don't know if they would have to cut the animated cutscenes to be able to fit all those sprites . .. But I miss having them honestly XD It was so freaking cool to have Kyogre or other ridiculously big pokemon follow behind you in the games.

That said, a personal villa where I could grow my own berry garden and personalize it would be SO COOL. I didn't know how much I wanted this exact thing until I read this thread

A villa would be awesome, though I would be surprised to see it. It would be neat if we could alter the architecture of the villa, or at least the paint color, alter the plants (not just berries, but other trees and such), put up furniture, etc. That seems more like something to expect from Animal Crossing than from Pokemon, though, and I suspect we've come a long way just to get customization back. But even larger secret bases with more space for decorations would be nice. I was disappointed that I couldn't coat all of my secret base floor space with decorations in AS.

Re: having things all "come together," that could suggest a return to secret bases and such, or a slight upgrade from that, though I still wonder if villas would be going a bit too far. But I won't rule out the possibility until we've gotten more info about the games. My sense, though, was that by bringing everything together, it was more of a reference to the series coming full circle. Now gen I can connect with gen VII, and old fans and new fans can enjoy the oldest and most recent entries together on the same system. I do think there will be a return of some popular old features, but I wonder if some of the coming together element is just a marketing ploy. Still, I'm excited for the games, and eager for more information at this point.

This would honestly be perfect as the villa was great and fits the theme of this game so well!
It also be a cool form of customization and method of bringing in old characters from past games.

I liked the Villa a lot back in Platinum, sadly I don't think many if any of the older extra content will return in SunMoon. We'll just get their replacement and move on like we pretty much have been doing ever major title update.

That would be awesome to be able to get your own villa again, and with the Streetpass feature it would be cool to have an entire island in the game that was just for your villa and every villa you get through Streetpass just like with the Secret bases you can get items and decorations for said villa.

If they wanted to bring back Secret Bases in a brand new way, I think villa would be an amazing feature (Is that from Platinum? Never played that generation. Had no idea personal villas were a thing!). You get one, but you get to choose from a variety of locations and features and then customize how you want it (like an original Gym, maybe a mini-game kind of thing, or just a fun place to hang out and battle online?).
