Peter Jennings, ABC News Anchor, dead at 67

Lung cancer, it wasn't second hand smoke though. He use to be a heavy smoker up until the early 70/late 80s and had a relapse over 9/11

Anyway, over my journalism classes, he was probably the one reporter I respected the most. He was able to tell stories without getting involved, which is hard to do. There are tons of reporters that sometimes feel a certain story touches them more, but he always thought his job was to tell all sides of a story without any bias.
 
Even though rightes (people such as me) would accuse him of "liberal bias", it's really big-government bias. It has always been difficult for me to detect liberalism in the news, though I can easily sense that they support nearly every big-government expansion program.
