me and my friends have websites. we both have t35 hosting and use magic news light. but we cant figure out how to change our passwords and install it help soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you mean the passwords for the news system, take a look at the readme for installation. There should be instructions on how to CHMOD files and stuff, and you should be prompted to enter a password during installation.

i dont know how to get it to work. how do i chmod it? and how do i get it to show up on my page?

here is the instructions for that magic news lite:

Magic News Lite v1.0.2
easy news management
Installation instructions :
1. Create directory on your server for Magic News Lite Control Panel.
2. Make chmod of this directory to 0777. You can make it using your ftp client or ssh server access - how?
3. Upload all the files from Magic News Lite archive to this directory.
4. Make chmod of config.php to 0777. -how?
5. Make chmod of scripts/php-news.php to 0777. how?
6. Run install.php from your browser.
7. Enter username & password you want for control panel, web site url, and click install. -i did nothing happens
8. Read instructions in the control panel. -how it doesnt work?

I can help you on this. The only thing I need to know is, what FTP client are you using to upload your files? That's the important thing here, then I can tell you how to do CHMOD.

I can only tell you how to CHMOD if you tell me which program you are using to upload the files! It depends on the FTP client!
