    How can I make that work?

    Triple Kick/Rapid Spin/Stone Edge/whatever, with Technician @ Wide/Zoom Lens.

    well if you want if for SWEEPING, then you'll really have to work on it. Intimidate isn't a bad ability on him, but Technician really comes in handy, even if you are using him for full on sweeping.

    Tyrogue @ Leftovers/Life Orb
    Adamant Nature
    252 ATK/224 HP/32 SPD
    Ability: Technician
    -Close Combat
    -Stone Edge/Pursuit
    -Aerial Ace
    -Mach Punch/Agility

    as a bulky fighter with below average speed, you need to nourish his very low HP. i'd personally go with pursuit for the extra damage on the switch (and besides, dark + fighting combo hits almost everything except for heracross, which is what aerial ace is for). Technician boosts the power of Aerial Ace to 90, so feel free to fire in against other fighting types. finally ,considering you want a sweeper set, agility is there for obvious reasons while mach punch somewhat takes places of agility, with Technician + STAB, becomes 80 base power.

    actually, that isn't confirmed. it is at least 80 power, which is proven by looking at the mathematics two different ways:

    40 + STAB=60 ----> 60+ (40 Tech)=60 + 20=80 Base Power

    40 + STAB=60 ----> 60 + (60 Tech)=60 + 30=90 Base Power

    the difference between the two is which is calculated first: STAB or Ability? if Ability is triggered after STAB, then the base power is 90. if it is triggered before OR at the same time, then it is 80 power.

    it hasn't been confirmed which one it is, but we can at least say it is 80 or 90.

    It has been confirmed that Tech applies after STAB adding another 1.5 boost, at least on Smogon. And they're pretty reliable.

    Yeah. It actually makes more sense, multiply by 1.5 (to get from 40 to 60) then by 1.5 again (to get from 60 to 90). So yeah, 90 power for Mach Punch would be right.

    That also means 135 bp Aerial Ace for Scyther, since it also appears to go before STAB meaning anything 60 or under gets the full boost, STAB or not.

    actually, i asked at Smogon myself a week ago, and though they are sure that it is 90 BP, they haven't been able to confirm it.

    90 makes sense, but there is still a possibility that it is 80. so before people start pulling out their damage calculators, they should be aware that there is a possibility that it is actually 80 BP rather 90.

    Probably because they're so sure it's true since they've tested AA Scyther, which did a lot more than it should have, meaning it was 135, meaning Tech is applied first and STAB second. Meaning 90 BP Mach Punch.

    But then again, my memory could be failing me and you're right. It does that sometimes.
