Say one thing about the name and I'll throw a Wailord at you.
Anyways, believe me, the actual fanfic is better than the name. I thought up the name when I was seven. And the original plot. Now I've got a whole new plot, but no better title.
Oh, I'm revising this, but the revised version isn't done yet. So I decided to just post this unrevised one. I'll finish the revised version by next Thursday, hopefully.
-------
Prologue
Rain pattered on the windows of houses that stood near a forest. One house had a light in it's window, but soon the light flickered off, for it was nighttime, and few people were awake.
In the forest, some small Pokemon could be seen scurrying around, searching for food, or maybe bedding.
Only one was searching for something different.
A Pikachu ran through the forest, trying to get back to her nest as quickly as possible. Why, no one knew, except for herself.
Arriving at a small burrow under a tree, the Pikachu ran in, and immediately started searching for whatever she was looking for. She suddenly stopped, because it had heard a crunching noise, and felt something beneath it's paw. Bending down, the Pikachu blinked a few times before she could clearly see what was there.
Eggshells.
The Pikachu suddenly saw what was on the floor of the burrow; eggshells. All around the Pikachu were eggshells. Her eyes welled up with tears, and she ran out of the burrow.
She never noticed the egg that was lying in a corner.
The egg shook a little, and a small crack appeared in the side. It grew bigger, then the egg split in two. A small Pokemon climbed out. It tried to open it's eyes, and after a few seconds, managed two. It looked around. Why isn't there anyone else here? it's eyes seemed to say.
The Pokemon called out. It knew no words, but no matter if a Pokemon or a human heard it, it seemed to say something. Why?
"Pichuuu..."
-------
The revised version will have how the eggs got broken, more description, and will basically be better. The one paragraph that mentions the houses turned into five paragraphs in the revised version already.
