Pikachu or Ampharos?

As you know, the Yellow Forest route for the Pokéwalker is out for distribution today. I caught a Pikachu (not a special one =[ ) and I was wondering if I should swap my Ampharos for my new Pikachu. Should I? Because, it would take more time to train up the Pikachu, as she's only level 10, but having a Pikachu on my team would be cool. So, what do you think I should do?
