Pikachu Used Diet!

Lol in the first season of the anime, Pikachu was just a yellow blob who could blow up things, but ever since ash lost in the kanto league he has been starving his Pokemon... lol
 
I noticed that watching the first season compared to Galactic Battle. Pikachu must have gone on Jenny Craig! =D
 
What if Pikachu is just bulimic because no one notices it!? Poor Pikachu ):
