    What do you think will happen to pikachu when the show's over? I believe pikachu will be the strongest pokemon in the entire universe and Ash will then retire as the master elite as winning battles will be too easy for him. Pikachu will there for live a hasal free life and will never have to work again. Pikachu and Ash will be like house cats and never, ever work.
     
    A lot of people speculate about what will happen 'when the show ends' but I personally think that its more likely to be cancelled than to 'finish', so to speak. the anime will continue as long as the games do, and Pokemon will not be allowed to die until either Gamefreak goes bust or they have squeezed out every last drop of money. Which is a lot...

    What if they run out of ideas?

    Pikachu doesn't want to be Raichu and Ash won't make him. There's a better chance of Ash dieing from a heart attack then Ash forcing pikachu to be raichu or pikachu to want to be raichu so pikachu will never be raichu.
     
    Pikachu will have his own spinoff series. Come on, Frasier Craine did it in Cheers, why can't Pikachu? =P

    It's really hard to say what'll happen when the series is cancelled, but we can all assume that won't be for a very, very long time. There will probably be at least 1000 Pokemon, and every... last... cent... will be squeezed out of the public. Once Pokemon is no longer making money, then we can start speculating.

    I don't really think they'll run out of ideas in general, but whether the ideas are good or not remains to be seen. In my opinion, they were out of good ideas after the 3rd gen was over. Some people love the 4th gen Pokemon, games, etc., but I don't, and I think most of the new stuff is total crap. But, ideas are ideas, and there is no doubt that the 4th gen stuff is bringing in money. As long as there are ideas, good or bad, and provided it makes money, the series will continue.

    I hate Pikachu but what I predict is Pikachu will just stay with Ash no matter what (excuse me, Do I sound stupid to you? >.>' )
     
    Hello there. I think that when the anime is over, Pikachu will finally decide to evolve into Raichu and a new main character will come in and remake the whole anime.
     
    That's when I'll stop watching, because Pikachu shouldn't evolve because he's perfect the way he is. By remake the anime do you mean it's going to be like Pokemon but it's not Pokemon. I never really liked Dragon Ball GT because it just wasn't Dragon Ball Z. Dragon Ball GT is like Dragon Ball Z but it's not Dragon Ball Z. Is that what you mean?
