3rd Gen Pikachus in Viridian Forest

I dunno why, but why do I always get a Pikachu whenever I try to train my flying type Pokemon in this place?

(Not that I don't want that; in fact, I needed a Pikachu as my starter is Charmander)

Im not sure how is this relevant or how it can be turned into a topic. Try a DCC topic in Pokemon Generald or similar.
To answer though, it probably has nothing to do with you training a flying type as it is random.
