Hack Name: Pikamon
Hack of: Pokemon Ruby
Okay. I know that it isn't a totally original name, what with the Pikamon hack for R/B/Y, so I apologize to whoever did that hack, but this game is different.
INTRODUCTION:
Ever been frustrated at the long wait til the Safari Zone just to get that Pikachu that you've always wanted? Well, a certain anonymous person was so very frustrated that he decided, going against all the rules of nature, to breed Pikachu into the wild at Hoenn. The result...all pokemon are now - Pikamon! Basically, they all have been crossbred with Pikachu which results in hilarious products!
FEATURES:
> Plusle and Minun replace Groudon and Kyogre, whilst Raichuquaza (new pokemon) replaces Rayquaza
> Plusle and Minun have new learnset of moves (no longer pathetic) and have Legendary - like stats
> Reggipi, Reggika and Reggichu replace the Reggi trio
> New sprites for EVERY Poke/Pikamon (apart from the Pikachu family and Latios/as)
> Catch Pichu, Pikachu or even Raichu on most routes
> Team Menos and Team Muchos replace Team Aqua / Magma
> Ash Ketchum / Red is the champion of the elite four - with a Pikachu level 81!!!
> Therefore the champion and in extension the elite four are much harder
STORYLINE:
You are a young boy/girl, who just like in Ruby have just moved to Littleroot Town, unaware of the growing Pikachu mutated Pokemon population, dubbed 'Pikamon'. You save Birch from a rabid Poochyena-Pikachu hybrid using a chosen starter pokemon, also a Pikachu hybrid, and Birch recruits you to catch 'em all and save all Pokemon.
You soon run into Team Muchos, who are trying to take over the world with Pikamon, and you have to stop them before the situation gets out of hand, and return all Pikamon back to normal Pokemon.
TEAM:
I know some may frown apon me recruiting help here, and if neccessary I will open a thread in the appropiate place, but I need help spriting OWs (i suck at that) and I will need somebody to edit the text seeing as my Dad, the Administrator for my computer, has banned the text editing - but not the spriting! So the team so far:
Hoppyfred - Producer, Director, Idealist, Chief Spriter
I need:
Assistant spriter(s)
OW spriters
Text editors
Idealists
Scripter (possibly next to zero involvement - dunno if i need any new events - in which case it would be good if you were helping in another way as well)
Mapper (see Scripter)
And finally...yes, I probably will need SOME beta testers.
EDIT: It would be nice if somebody helped with banners / publicity?

I do have some preview pics of the pokemon but I'm just hanging on to those for the moment and if things go well - ie. good feedback (i don't mind as long as you show me where i can improve my ideas) and hopefully some help...?
