    This is driving me nuts. I spent all last nite and most of this morning going between Ilex Forrest and Route 43 in Pokemon Silver, headbutting every tree I could see...and all I'm getting is Spearows and Weedles. Where and when does Pineco appear?
     
    Pineco can be found by Headbutting trees on Routes 31 and 34, and in the Ilex Forest. They are fairly rare, so just keep looking and one will eventually show up. Oh, and it helps to put them to sleep when they appear because they like to Selfdestruct.

    Yes, Pineco only appears at night. Forgot to mention that.

    Okay. After a week of searching, I have formed the conclusion that Pineco does not exist in Silver.

    Lol a couple of hours after my edit, I found a Pineco. Its a crazy world.
