    I woke up with pink eye today and it stinks because I had my first basketball game today.

    So have you ever had pink eye?

    Im allergic to seafood, sad i know...

    I've never had Pink Eye before, but I've known others who have had it such as a few friends of mines. Just make sure you don't spread it because Pink Eye can be a contagious. :\ Using your own towel to wipe your face and all is very important, just make sure you wash it right after so you don't get it back again.

    It's sad to hear you got it on the day of your first basketball game though.
     
    :S Sad to hear about this. Pink Eye is Conjenctivitus, incase anyone didn't know.

    I had this a year ago, on the day of my drama production.

    I've never had it, but I know quite a few people who have. Just try not to touch your eyes and then touch something else without washing them since it is very contagious as other people have said.
     
    I've had pink eye at least once. It's such a miserable infection to have, not that any others are good.
     
    Yeah it is annoying but, it is not the first time I have had it.

    I didn't realize that anyone id call it conjunctivitis... It seems odd not to use the common name of a disease...

    On topic, however: I have not had pink eye before, but have seen people who have, it looks horrible...

    Pink eye is just the common name. Conjunctivitis is the less-common official name.

    Just like a Bald Eagle is called a Bald Eagle commonly, not a Haliaeetus leucocephalus, which is its official name.
     
    I've never had Pink Eye before, but I've known quite a few people who have gotten it before. By the sound of their relentless complaints, it sounds like a pain in the neck, so I should probably be glad I haven't gotten it yet.

    Absolutely no one calls it pink eye in my country. I'd never even come across the term 'til now. Oh well.

    Sore eyes is another term for it.

    Ha. I experienced it loads of times, and it's very annoying and itchy. I always had the urge to scratch it, but I know it'll get worse when I do that. And I had to where sunglasses to hide it.

    And just as a random fact, pink eye is caused by getting fecal matter (or as the cool kids say it, poop) in your eye. It means somehow, someway, someone went to the bathroom, had poop on their hands, and you came into contact with something they touched then touched your eye. It's disgusting.
