Since Roy has no blinking frames.
I had to resort to Eli, the closest one in face.

Make it more dull, like the other FE colors. superbright and FE don't mix :P

It's a decent revamp, but it could use less black in the outline. Use something like a dark blue around the lighter colors (except for around the inside of the ears).

... O_O

I have nothing to say for that one except "wow". :O

The darkest now contrasts too much with the lightest, perhaps add more shades or make them blend more properly?

the shade on the left needs to be fixed, it's going the opposite direction of the other shades. o.o I also think that the shade should be centered on the top like the sprite.. if that was what you were aiming for. Also use a bit more shades, change the direction of the shade (It's easier.. top left or right seems to be good.)

Pillow-shaded some old sprites in my spare time. Blastoise's is from Green (I think), Mewtwo's from Blue, and Croconaw's from Silver/Gold. Please let me know what you think.
