Here is Shellder; I hope no one has done him already because he's my favorite :D
I redid some of his lines and reshaped his left eye (and repositioned the right), though tbh, it was mostly recolor since the sprite is already anatomically correct.
Also, here is Exeggutor:
I was going to do Muk, but his body is all wrong and he's hard to color : /
Here's Golbat and Drowzee; I darkened the tones on Golbat, repositioned his bottom teeth and fixed his right eye. I also reshaped his ears. For Drowzee, I reshaded him and redid some of the lines, but otherwise easy work;
edit I fixed some of Drowzee's lines I forgot to edit.
~now ON with the criticism
all of the sprites above are revamps but mostly are just recolors... There are a lot of "dots" on the line art of the sprites, they look flat and dull
try to read Dragonfree's tut for more info (dragonflycave.com)
Looking through recent posts, it seems that a few people have neglected the rules... Ah well, it's not my place to enforce them. Doing revamps that have already been done or claimed helps you to improve even if the sprite won't be used. Of course, a lot of these are recolors, not revamps...
That being said, wow, I got busy and forgot about this! I never finished Exeggcute or Exeggcutor, but here's what I managed earlier this year. All it needs is a little more shading.
You do realise a bulk of those werent on there because they didn't meet the threads standards right? Please don't mini mod especially when you've already managed to break this boards rules.
In regards to this project, I thought I had closed it a long while ago, however I believe my post probably got caught up in a DB error and never went through. So sorry about any confusion, but revamp yellow is over. Thanks to everyone for their hard work.
To anyone here who wishes to continue running this project, PM me, and I'll see if we can sort it out.
