4th Gen Pkrs...?

Yeah, its Pokerus, it makes them grow faster then normal, it will dissapear in a few days, you can spread it to the rest of your pokemon by putting it in your box, it will last forever there. Just make sure you put the pokemon back in the box every once in a while to keep it.

it doesn't spread to your box pokemon in D/P. you must put the pokemon in your team and battle with it while there for it to spread to pokemon in your team.

i was so hyped about it when someone traded me to get Pokerus so that it'd be easier to EV train my pokemon, but as soon as i was EV training my Medicham, it lost it after about 2 hours. it now has this weird -_- face instead.
 
So I caught Grintina then I went to heal. The nurse said one of my pokemon may have the pokrus and then i checked and didn't see it on any of them, so am I blind or could it of worn off in a few sec.
 
Does anyone know what route to get it on because I remember in ruby there was a certain route you get it on and i got it from there.

There is no route to get pkrs on, there is only a chance to get pkrs from battling a wild pokemon, I forget the odds but I am pretty sure it's 2x as rare as a shiny, so if a shiny is 1 / 8192 then to get pkrs is 1 / 16384, - someone confirm this


 
Pkrs..

On GTS I just received a Japanese Taurus with PKRS (pokerus?)...
This is completely new for me, so some questions:

- How will other pokemon catch it too (its contagious right? and posotive?)

- How will it effect them?

- How will it effect them while also holding a macho brace?

- As soon he's affecting other pokemon I have, does anybody need one of my pokemon with PKRS ;)?

And by "time," he means one or two battles.

I am almost positive in Ruby there was a certain route you could get it. I think it was the route where the bicycle road is on.
 
i h8 pokerus because its not cool... and it can ruin your game... its kinda like a virus... it takes away your pokemon health after every other turn... let the pokemon that has it go if you don't wanna go out and buy another copy of the game...
 
Can I just ask how pokemon get infected with Pkrs in the first place? Do they just have it when caught/bred? Or is it something you have to give them yourself?

Also when they lose the status of PKRS after 24 hours your pokemon will still get double EV points, they will just lose the ability to pass it on to other pokemon. So it's pretty usefull!

And your proof is...?
Have you even expirenced the Pokerus? It actually Helps your pokemon.. Also, if it ruined your game, then just about every *proper* pokemon gamer (ones who aim for Shiny/Specific Nature/PKRS) would sue nintendo for PKRS as if you have played game for 200+ hrs, you are bound to have gotten PKRS. I think you are mistaking PKRS with the Poision *something* i forgot its name, but holder loses HP after every turn, but your opponent gets it if you touch them (Physical Move)

I'm not sure on that, i think you can get it while hatching an egg (need proof), i think during catching pokemon... Egg - Dont know
I'm saying Catching Pokemon because when i PKRS hunt, i leave five slots in party, catch five random pokemon. If they are not PKRS infected, STart + Select + A + B ( i think) and i keep on doing.. On DP, i've POKESAV cheated (yeh, i got r4...)

LOL, same here I have M3, Woot!!, but I got pokerus legit, I traded for some hacked darkrai's, mwahaha, If you need help figuring stuff out nekroboi, PM me, but I'm sure you'll know everything needed to know :P

WHAT!?? Pokerus is NOT a bad thing. Quite the opposite: it is a godsend to those that EV train. It doesn't decrease HP, and it certainly doesn't ruin your game.

And where are all of you getting the idea that Pokerus is on a specific route? No it is not. It is completely random, like finding a Shiny. No link to location at all.

And you can give it to an Egg, but only if one of your other Pokemon have it.
