4th Gen Pkrs...?

lol... i was just kidding... but i don't really like having pokerus just because when it loses it... if it does... ill get screwed up on wat ev's i have gave it...

...You don't like having it because you hate losing it? What kind of twisted logic is that?!

i don't really know... it kinda sounds emo to me... but yup... thats they way it is yo...

-please represent... and if u do... type representin after each of ur replies

it's better to have lost love than to have never known it? i don't know 'bout that.. losing something can be hard, i can imagine often people than rather would never have known it in the first place..

ehm, but like i said before; after 24 hours when the pkrs-status is gone your pokemon will still get double EV (will keep that forever), it just will lose the ability to pass it on to other pokemon (so be sure to store some in a pc box)..

i c... but i can understand ur logic completely... cause i sorta luved my old gf... and now i wish that i never met her... but yea... does losing pokerus make ur pokemon depressed and have their happiness go down????

Um, no. It just means they no longer earn double EVs in battle from that point on.

thanx ichida... i luv u now cause u answered my question... don't ruin it... and represent... por favor... and i don't really like pokerus tho...

don't know.. but talking about happiness; when i gave a girl on msn pkrs last night, i never saw a girl getting more excited and enjoying getting a decease from me before..

no really, they say it on wikipedia :|!
ánd, i just ev-trained my pkrs-effected pokemon that couldn't already have its effort ribbon if what i said isn't true

"Pokérus is cured after 24 hours on the party from the time of infection; Pokémon cannot be cured of Pokérus if left in a PC box or are traded to Pokémon Stadium 2 or Pokémon Box. Once Pokérus' effects end, the host develops an immunity to it and it can no longer be transmitted. However, the accelerated stat growth remains, the Pokémon only loses the ability to spread it."

Ah, so the EV growth remains? Awesome. Didn't know that.

cool huh? and that's the great thing about pokemon, discovering and learning new things every day.. the passed 3 weeks i woke up as a new man every day because i learned so much again about breeding, training and battling..

(ok, i'll stop before i start)

Wow, that has to be the spammiest spam that was ever spammed.

A question on pokerus

my blaziken had a pokerus and it spread onto my entire team. however, recently four of my pokemon had their pokerus replaced by a yellow face, and two of them still have the virus.
I was just wondering... will the pokemon that lost the virus be able to get it back?

No sir. They lose it after a few days (it doesn't seem like a set time limit, I find it's different for every Poke... I've it last up to a week on a few of my Steel pokemon), but once they lose it, they gain an immunity to it. However, as I've read, the effects of the virus will always be there, so once it is infected, even if it loses the virus, it will ALWAYS gain double EVs from a battle. That's why you have got to infect a few commoners and stash 'em in the PC, to ensure that you always have a few test tubes ready to infect whoever you want, since time is stopped when in the PC.
