Working on my new hack, Pokemon FireRed Pro, I decided that I would allow access to the trainers on Route 3 before beating the Gym to soften the blow of the difficulty of Brock's new loadout a bit (he has a Solrock and Lunatone and both Hoenn fossils in a double battle XD). However, the player should not be able to access Mt. Moon before beating the Gym, so I'm thinking of extending one of the ledges the player can only approach from one side and blocking the remaining space with a person. However, how would I program that person, their speech and the fact that they disappear once you've beaten the gym? I'm a n00b in hex coding, so please help me out here. I might just move one of the existing trainers to de-complicate things, but I'd still like them to disappear after the Gym is beaten. Thanks.

Alright, thanks a bunch. I'll try it and report back.

EDIT: Worked like a charm. All is going as planned. Thanks again!
