4th Gen Platinum or heart gold?

    Don't know whether this is off topic but I just wanna ask.
    I am planning to get a hG once it is released in english.
    But then I wanna know which should be my main game.
    I have been playing platinum for quite a white now. and just wondering
    In terms of variety of pokemon you can catch, pokemon frontier, the general things you can do in the game.
    For example in the previous generation I mainly play emerald because it has more things to offer..
    so back to the question
    which one is better? platinum or heart gold?
     
    HeartGold indefinately.

    But you'll need both to get the true value out of HeartGold.

    That's why I'm getting a Dsi on my birthday, so I can trade with both games.

    That way, the pokemon I worked so hard on it Platinum can be in HeartGold too.
     
    does heart gold have sinnoh or hoenn pokemon?
     
    I couldn't really wait for 3 more months.
    but I never played a japenese version before..
    There should be a huge difference, isn't it?
     
    You could get a translated ROM but that's illegal. However, if you buy the games and just create a back-up your save and use a translation patch then you can play the game in English legally I think.
     
    wow never knew we could do that..
    what tools do i need in order to do that?
     
    I would think HeartGold would have more content, with its two regions, but I haven't played the game yet.

    I will be getting HeartGold. Instead of "catching em' all" I'll be using only competitive Pokemon, for the most part. Platinum will be my collection.

    I'm personally going for Heart Gold! Being able to have your Pokemon walk next to you, not have to be in Amity Square for items, 16 badges, Growlithe, Kyogre, Latias, and of course, HO-OH!! :D
     
    I have souls silver in Jap. and would rather play that game than the platinum one, and I have both the english and Jap. one of that game.
     
    guys thanks for the advice but can anyone tell me how to get an english version(translated rom) and load it to your NDS?
    I know that stuff like R4 and stuff exist but where to get it?

    You can download them, you'll have to google it, as for the r4 you can get one at, wait you better google that also, don't know if I'll be breaking the rules if I tell a site name.
