    So basically the other day I went back and played pokemon diamond for the first time in about a year and got the last 2 pokemon to complete my national dex.

    I'm really looking forward to Heart Gold which comes out in a month in the UK so I was wondering would it be worth me buying platinum to keep me busy until then? I plan on starting completely fresh if I do decide to get it.

    Also, does anyone know the best place to buy it in the UK? Cheapest i've seen is £25 at PC world.

    Did you like Emerald?
    Did you like Crystal?
    If the answer to these questions is yes, then you should probably pick up platinum
    £25 is probably the cheapest you'll get it though. I've only ever seen it for £30, And old copies of diamond and pearl still sell for £25.
     
    I've never played Emerald, I had crystal but I don't remember much about it because it was like 10 years ago or something.
    I will probably get it at some point, i'm just interested to know any prices of it and whether it would actually be worth getting when hg/ss is only a month away.
     
    As has been said, if you can get it for cheap enough, then by all means get it if you think you will enjoy it, or want to add it to your collection. But, having said that, there's only a month to wait now, so it might not be worth spending so much just to fill that gap.
