And does anyone know what the price will be?

No, PS3 will not be portable(how portable would a machine that reads blu-ray discs be?)

You're probably thinking of PSP. The release date... well we can't be exact. All that is 100% sure of is that it will be sometime between 2005 and 2008 XD

Extremely dense discs. The name came from the fact that the laser that reads it, is now blue. The discs can hold like 54 Gigabytes(I think)

So that's like 7 DVDs on one disc. Very cool.

it's just a smaller PS2. it looks really tiny in the screenshots that I am too lazy to find for you o_o; it's not big enough to support the HD Loader though, which is kind of disappointing.

I've seen it advertised at $149.99

Ps3 can play blue disks, dvds, ps2 games, ps1 games, and cd's...talk about an ALL IN ONE console. now...if only I could get it to play Gamecube games. :)

Don't worry, one day someone will be dumb enough to make a system that plays all console games, put it on the market, and get away with it.

They will find some loophole. "It's a clock, not a game system! The fact that it plays PS3, GCN, and Xbox games is beside the point!" XD

The original company was Sony, so it won't be the same one. I have heard NUMEROUS rumors of third party companies that are going to take advantage of Sony's mistake though. So I'm pretty sure we will be getting a HDD for PStwo, even if it's not an official product.

And for those people that haven't seen PStwo yet:
